Brittany Makayla Wynne
April 11, 1994-April 6, 2018
She had a kindly word for each and she died beloved by allI nodded at some of my family members as they left Brittany's grave. Our son, Bodhi, and I were the last ones there as the funeral people began to fill her hole. "Bye mommy." I heard Bodhi say softly. I kissed his cheek before walking back to my car. "Brandon." I looked up at Brittany's mom. She has been our rock since Brit's death. Other than me and Bodhi, her mom and her sister, Alyssa, were all she had. "Are you two going to come back for dinner?" She asked. I nodded. "I'm going to try and get him to take a nap." She nodded and gave me a sympathetic look before hugging me. I hugged her back, trying not to let a tear escape. "I'll see you later." She said softly before walking away.
Brittany Wynne and I have been dating since our freshman year of college. We both went to UCLA. I majored in Computer Science while she majored in Communications. After we both graduated, she ended up pregnant with our son, Bodhi. One night she was coming home and ended up being in a hit and run. She ended up dying from her injuries and the police haven't caught who the other person was. Her 24th birthday was coming up in a few days and I was going to ask her to marry me. Now the ring box just sits in my nightstand.
I sat on Brit's side of the bed when I saw a small red box. I opened it up and smiled when I saw her charm bracelet. Twelve charms were lined around the silver bracelet. She has had it since her 16th birthday and every charm tells a story. Her own story.
A/N: Each chapter will be a flashback to what her charms mean. I hope you enjoy
