"Happy birthday!" I smiled at Brittany. She smiled. "Thanks baby." She said. Her best friend, Danielle, bought her a tiara and a sash to wear. "I want to get pictures!" Danielle smiled. Brit blushed before we face her. I wrapped my arm around her waist and she put her arm around my shoulder. I looked at her and she smiled before I kissed her. She smiled against my lips before pulling away. "I love you." "I love you too." She smiled back.
Danielle, her family, and I took Brittany to a restaurant called Bar Louie. We got seated outside near a fire pit and ordered appetizers. "It's so nice here." She said softly to me and laid her head on my shoulder. I kissed the top of her head. We enjoyed the night having drinks and good times with our people. I didn't have a lot to drink so I took Brittany back to my apartment. We went in and sat on the couch. She turned the tv on and laid her head on my lap. "I got you one last thing." I said and she turned to lay on her back. "What?" She smiled. I handed her a small black bag. She sat up and carefully opened it. "Bran." She smiled and took her gift out. It was a small charm with the number 21 surrounded by a wreath. "Thanks!" She hugged me tightly and kissed me. I smiled as we pulled away.
•••I finished making the pancakes and plated them gently with strawberries and powered sugar. I walked to my room and carefully opened the door with my foot. Brit was still sleeping, cuddling my pillow. I smiled and put the tray of food on my dresser. I carefully woke her up. "We're going to do something fun today." I smiled. She smiled too and I brought her the tray. "When I get pancakes, I know it's a good day." She joked and we both laughed.
"Disneyland!" She smiled as we pulled into the familiar arch. "Excited?" I asked and she nodded. "You know I love it here." She smiled and repeatedly kissed my cheek. I laughed. "Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!" She squealed. "No problem baby." I squeezed her hand and tried to find a parking spot.
