[A/N: How's the story so far? I honestly think it's kind of weird that Jack works at Panera - but that's just me! ;) Happy reading!]
----
I let out a defeated sigh.
"Come on Jack, we better get started."
I lead Panera Boy out of the office and into the hallway.
"Do you know anything about this school," I say, putting a hand on my hip.
Jack brushes a hand through his hair. "Um, no, not exactly. That's why you're giving me a tour, right?" He lifts a questioning eyebrow.
"Yeah. Okay. Whatever." I take in a deep breath and let it out slowly. I must've looked like the Karate Kid or something because when I open my eyes from trying to gather myself, Jack has the weirdest expression on his face.
"Uh, Elsa right? Are you okay? You seem tense. I can, ask Mr. Peters to get someone el-"
I cut him off. "Thanks Jack. No, I'm fine. It's just that I'm missing so much in class right now. I can't believe Peters got me out of classes just to give a tour."
Jack stares at me with knowing eyes. "I get it, Elsa." After saying my name, he drops his eyes to the floor.
Hm. He's so weird. It's like he's hiding something. I do like the way he says my name, though. Wait! No! Stop thinking that. Bad Elsa!
"Shall we begin the tour," I say in my best tour guide accent.
"Sure. You lead." He simply stuffs his hands into his blue sweatshirt.
So I guess he's not into the excitable weird stuff.
As we walk down the hallways, I point out the classrooms and give a little description about the teacher/class.
----
We end up walking his schedule seventeen times just waiting for the bell to ring to signal the end of the day.
Finally the bell rings and students flood into the hallway.
"Um, so I guess this is it. You can come to me anytime if you need help," I say.
Jack only nods in reply. His eyes are glued to the window.
What's so interesting outside? It's the end of September so there's only leaves, leaves, and more leaves.
I walk over to see what he's staring at.
Oh. My. Gosh.
It's lightly snowing outside.
I turn to Jack. "How is this happening?"
"I have no idea," he says shakily. "I think this is what that CNN dude was talking about."
Oh yeah. I forgot about that.
"So, um, thanks," Jack says, his eyes darting around. He holds out his hand. I shake it. Man his hands are cold. "I gotta go." He turns and runs out Door 5. "Thanks for the tour Princess." The door closes.
Princess? No, I must've just imagined it.

Caroline is late.
I've been waiting outside for the past thirty minutes. The only other person here is the janitor. The snowfall has picked up and I don't exactly have a jacket.
Finally I get a text from Caroline.
Caroline: sorry! I got detention again
Well that's great to know half an hour after school ended.
I begin to walk home. The snow is actually really pretty. I hold out my hands and let the snowflakes fall on them.
The weird thing is,
they won't melt.
Why aren't they melting? I clasp my hands together, attempting to introduce heat into the equation.
I open up my hands. There's a giant snowflake levitating over the palm of my hand.
A. Giant. Freaking. Snowflake.
No matter which way I move my hand, it follows. Little wisps of snow float around the snowflake.
I lash out my hand at the nearest stop sign and end up freezing half of it.
What is happening?
As I look at my hands, trying to figure out what the fudge is going on, a car pulls up next to me.
"Hey Princess! You need a ride?"
I stuff my hands in my pockets.
"Uh, sure Daniel. Thanks."

[A/N: OOOOH things are heating up - or should I say, cooling off haha. Don't laugh at that, it's not funny. ;) Comments? Feedback? That would be awesome my precious snowflakes haha. :) Sorry that I haven't updated in so long! I've been busy with Cross Country and new puppies. I hope you forgive me! Happy reading!]
