[A/N: Is it okay so far? ~Yes? No? Maybe? I don't know... Can you repeat the question?~ Sorry, I'm really obsessed with Malcolm in the Middle right now! Happy reading! :)]

Man this sucks. Not only do I have geometry homework (yeah, yeah, I'm taking higher ability math - call me a nerd), but try having to babysit Anna while doing it! She's a complete distraction! Anna has been running around the house for the past thirty minutes, screaming about some new stupid doll. Apparently it's all the rage in her third grade class.
"Anna," I yell from my room. "I'm trying to do homework! Can you be quiet for like, ten more minutes?"
Anna runs into my room and jumps on my bed.
"But I need one Elsa," she says - putting emphasis on the "sa" of my name.
"No you don't," I say blankly. I don't even look up to meet her most likely sad eyes.
"I need it! I need it! I need it," Anna chants.
I throw my arms up in frustration.
"How about you sit down," I say while patting my bed.
Anna trots over and plops herself onto her designated spot.
"Anna, you do not need that doll. Your whole life does not depend on you getting that doll. That doll is a want." I look at Anna to make sure she's still listening and she's most definitely not. Oh great. I just wasted some pretty good words of wisdom if I do say so myself, on an Anna who tore my homework to shreds. Okay Elsa, stay calm. Don't freak out. It's just math homework - you can do it again.
"Anna," I say calmly. "What did you do?"
"Welp, you, you started talking and I got bored so I found this junk piece of paper. There was this little rip in the corner that was calling to me, so I ripped up the rest."
"Get. Out. Right. Now."
"Elsa? Why-why do you sound so mad?"
"THAT WAS MY MATH HOMEWORK! NOW, GET OUT OF MY ROOM!"
Anna runs out of the room with tears in her eyes.
Oh gosh. What have I done?

I begin to redo my math again when I get a text from Caroline.
Caroline: Hey! Party tonite at Dylan's house!! You coming?? :) It's at 8 btw...
Me: Anna destroyed my hw so idk.
Caroline: Come on! It'll be fun!!
Me: 8 you say? How many people?
Caroline: A whole bunch! Duh... there'll be upperclassmen!
Me: ...
Me: Fine.
Caroline: Yay! Wear something adorable <3
Me: Yeah, yeah whatever
I glance at my math sheet. "This can wait for the morning," I say to myself. "I'm going to a party."
----
"Bye Anna! Goodnight! I'll be back after you go to bed," I yell as I walk out the door.
"Wait, Elsa! What about mom? She's gonna kill you if she found out you left me home alone just so you could go to a party."
"Well mom's eight hours away on a business trip, so she won't find out now will she?" I raise an eyebrow at a devilish-looking Anna. "Ughhh. How much?"
"Fifteen dollars and your whole bag of thin mint cookies," Anna says in the most "innocent" voice.
I fish a ten and a five out of my bag and Anna snatches it out of my hand.
"Pleasure doing business with you. Have fun big sis - I won't say a word."
With that, Anna slams the door in my face.
"Gosh. It's a little chilly," I mutter as I rub my arms for warmth. I hope Dylan's house is warmer because I'm wearing summer wear - a pair of jean shorts, a white and black lace tank top, and a black bandeau. This is okay for a party right?
After walking three blocks (Caroline wouldn't answer her phone so I'm guessing she forgot to pick me up), I finally arrive at Dylan Merroy's household. There are cars parked everywhere - even on his lawn. Girls in party dresses and guys in typical guy wear enter the house.
When I walk up to the house, there are several guys surrounding the door.
"Name?"
"Excuse me," I say with a confused expression.
"Blondie, I need your name," a boy with curly red hair says.
"It's Elsa. Why do you ask?"
The red head looks at his friends with a grin. He then hands me a cup and clinks his with mine.
"You got a number babe?"
"You know what," I say as I give my cup back to him. "I think I'm just going to head on inside."
As I make a break for the open door, he pulls me back.
"Hey," I protest.
"What's your number, huh? I want to know," Red Head says as he takes another swig of his drink.
"Okay mister, I think you've had enough to drink for tonight." I take the cup from him and pour the nasty smelling liquid onto the porch.
"That was a bad move Blondie."
"I'm going to go inside. Bye now!" I flash him a look of hatred and try once more to get inside the house.
"Blondie!"
I spin around. "What do you want from me?"
Red Head only burps and begins to laugh. I roll my eyes.
As I turn around, I run right into someone's arms. I look up and my eyes are met by a familiar looking set.
Oh. Man.
