"Mmmm...." I moaned weakly, holding my head up.

I blinked and looked around as my eyesight turned back to normal. One of Loki's minions was standing right in front of me with a large smile plastered on his face.

"I... I'm not under his control anymore." I stated. My thoughts and memories were mine again! HA! Beat that Loki! I'm gonna kill him! I began to get up when I realized I fucking couldn't. My body was tied to the pilot's seat by a ton of ropes with a strange blue glow. My arms were behind my back, wrapped in tape, I noticed. My ankled were taped together as well. Whatever, I'll just burn my way out. I tried, but it didn't work. THE FUCK... OH HELL NO!

"Let me go, asshole!" I shouted as I kicked the air and squirmed in my seat.

"I cannot do that... You'll be headed towards the Hudson River. Goodbye." He said monotonously, then jumped off. I growled and kept on squirming. He was right, I was headed for the Hudson.

"HELP! HELP ME PLEASE!" I screamed, hoping someone, anyone would hear me. A drop of sweat ran down the side of my face to my cheek, like a tear. I tried to calm myself down and look around for anything that could help me... the control panel. Okay, I can't slow down or stop the fucking Helicarrier, those controls are far-fucking-away from me. I noticed a red button that grabbed my attention. "If needed to be found, press," was inscribed on the bottom. YES! I bent forward and pressed the button with my nose. Oh, please work!

A small camera on the dashboard turned on, with a small red LED light blinking red right next to it. A screen on the dashboard turned on as well with the SHIELD sign displayed. Please, someone get it, please... I don't want to die!

Nick Fury's face appeared after a couple of seconds. I squealed with joy, and was about to hug the screen when I grasped the concept that I freakin' couldn't.

"Indi, tell me what's happening." He demanded.

"I'm going to drop into the Hudson River... Loki's minion tied me the fuck up and I can't burn through the ropes, I'm stuck. There's no way of me getting out, get someone here now! Um... please." I rushed.

"We'll get someone there ASAP. I'm gonna need you to keep fighting..." I was starting to loose him.

"I will, but I can't guarantee anything." I tried. I saw him nod, but then the screen just went black. Holy shit... I was close, spiraling towards the water at an intense speed.

I closed my eyes and took a big breathe. As soon as I did that my head catapulted to the control panel of the Helicarrier, and was submerged into the water. Ow, fuck that hurt! Liquid rushed inside the aircraft as it started to sink... Please don't let me die, please don't let me die....

Once I was fully underwater, I took a look around. I saw a couple of fish, they weren't that big. I was on the lookout for someone to save me though.

Two minutes in, and I was struggling. My lungs burned and my head was spinning... and there was no one here yet. It burns... ow, fuck my lungs! I can't do it! Fuck it!

I breathed in water and started to choke... oh, bad fucking decision! I take it back! No!

I kept on squirming and choking, trying to fight against a well-known darkness; unconsciousness, and then death. I felt myself starting to... lose it. My breathing, or attempt to breathe in this case, slowed. My eyes started to close against my will, and I could feel my mind breaking into pieces. I felt my heart speed up, then slow down. I became weak. It was kind of peaceful.

But... no, I don't want to die....

"Stark, I'm gonna have to make you take a break on fighting Loki for five minutes." Fury said. Tony looked around and shrugged.

"I think the Hulk has it under control. What do you want?"

"India, she's in the Hudson River, trapped in a Helicarrier. I'm giving you the latitude and longitude now. Get Steve too." He said, then disconnected from the call. Damn, he thought, how was I going to break it to spandex?

"Jarvis, calculate the latitude and longitude, GPS it for me." Tony said quickly, flying down and looking for Cap. Once he found him fighting some Chitauri with his shield, Stark grabbed him by the arm and started to fly to the location Jarvis came up with.

"Stark!" He said, surprised.

"LIsten, I don't have that much time, but your daughter is drowning, and I need to go get her." He lowered down to the ground, right next to the water, and let Cap go.

"What?" He said, the fear of losing Indi very clear in his voice. He pursed his lips and looked around. "I'll go get a medic, you get her." He instructed. Tony nodded and dived in the river.

"Go left." Jarvis said.

"Got it." Tony propelled his way through seaweed, remembering the time when he taught Indi how to fly. He reached the Helicarrier and slammed through the door, hoping to find her conscious.

"Damn it." He cursed, hastily reaching her. Her blonde hair was floating around her like a mist, her eyes were closed and she wasn't breathing. He quickly untied her, realizing that the rope was power-proof from it's abnormally blue hue. He also ripped all the tape off, then grabbed her by the legs and gently threw her over his shoulder.

Stark flew up into the sky in a matter of seconds.

"Jarvis, check her vital signs." He said.

"No pulse, heart rate, or blood pressure." He cursed once more and glided through the air, going back to Cap who was waiting with a medic.

"She has no pulse, heart rate, or blood pressure." Stark repeated as he carefully laid Indi down on the ground. The medic began CPR, and advantageously got what looked like most of the water out of her lungs, albeit she still wasn't responding. The two men both watched as they tried to revive Indi. Stark noticed that Steve looked like he was about to have a breakdown. Poor guy, he thought.

"Hey, Bill! Get me an AED and an oxygen mask!" He shouted quickly in between compressions. A man near an abulence nodded and rushed back inside. By then Steve was at Indi's side, holding her pale hand.

"She's cold." He whispered.

"We're doing the best that we can." Said Bill as he arrived. He quickly put the oxygen mask over her mouth and put two stickers on her chest.

"Okay, put the heart moniter on too." The other medic said. Once that was done, he stopped the chest compressions.

"Sir, I'm going to need you to stop holding her hand." Bill said. Steve nodded and stood up, taking a step back.

"Clear!" He said. Indi's heart jumped, but then continued to flatline. This was repeated again after two minutes of CPR, and Bill shook his head. He knew that this girl wouldn't make it.

"One more time, everyone clear!" He said. The shock was sent to her heart, and everyone looked at the heart monitor. Her heart jumped... and flatlined.

Bill pursed his lips and looked at Steve. "I'm sorry, we did all we could." He said sadly. Steve put his head in his hands and sat down on the floor.

"Steve..." Stark said. He really didn't know what to say; he was devastated too, but he wasn't the one to comfort people- it wasn't in his personality. He'd rather mourn alone.

Out of the blue, there was a small, almost inaudible gasp for air.
