Control

"...Captain." Fury said, walking towards him. He had just given his speech on the whole Avenger's idea, and Coulson's thoughts, among other things. The Captain America cards were bloodied up and spread across the round table, and Stark had just got up and left.

"I'll talk to you later, I need to see Indi." He stated as he got up and began to walk.

"Captain!" Fury shouted. There was a hint of sorrow laced in his voice that made Steve stop and turn around.

"Loki took her." He said. Steve began to shake as his hands balled into fists and his jaw clenched tightly. Fury could see the vein in the side of his neck stand out against his skin. Rogers was angry and it was taking everything that he had not to explode like a bomb.

"He took her?" He repeated angrily, stepping forward. Normally, Steve was a calm guy. He was good under stress, but this... this was much worse. This was his daughter, and she was with someone who could kill her, or control her to kill. He had a right to loose controle for just a moment.

"Yes, and we're doing everything we can to bring her back." Fury declared. The Cap nodded, his hands still in fists, his jaw still clenched, and walked away.

He was going to kill Loki for stealing his girl-- his only daughter, and his only link to Peggy.

"Now, when the time comes, you shall fight alongside me." Loki said as the Helicarrier flew over the ocean. I nodded and crossed my arms, thinking intently about my defensive strategies.

"Who do you want me to hurt the most? To focus on." I asked.

"The Captain." He said simply. I nodded, my lips curling upwards to form a smirk.

"I can kill him with ease." Loki smiled at the thought of me killing everyone in less than five minutes.

"You will make an excellent addition to my army."

"I am glad to be in it."

"Good." He smirked with me. This was going to be fun, very fun.

After a bit, the Helicarrier landed. Loki and I exited first and looked around. The Avengers weren't here yet, I noted with a scoff.

"I am going to go to the roof of the Stark Tower... hide in a building until they come, or when the time is right, as I have said before." He said as he looked up to the sky.

"How will I know when the time is right?"

"You will. I'll see you soon, kill as many as you can."

"Yes sir." He looked at me and smiled proudly, then walked away.

I hid inside a restaurant filled with annoying little children and waitresses running all over the place. I  took a seat in an empty booth which had a marvelous view of the streets, and waited.

"Hi miss, my name's Ashley and I'll be your waitress today. What can I get you?" She asked politely, a little too perkily actually.

"Uh... a coke would be just fine." I said. She noticed my eyes looked different, but didn't say anything.

"Coming right up." She scurried away to the kitchen, her blonde hair flying behind her.

I sighed and stared out the window. When I kill this Captain America, I can probably focus on the Black Widow, then Hawkeye, then Iron Man. Hulk might be too much of a challenge, although I do love challenges.

"Here you are, anything else?" Ashley asked as she put my coke on the table.

"No." I said rather harshly.

"Oh... okay, well, if you need anything, let me know." She hurried back to the kitchen once again.

When were they going to arrive? This whole hide-and-wait idea was starting to get highly boring. Just then I saw the infamous Iron Man fly up to the top of his building, ready to fight Loki. Not yet, I thought as I watched. In a matter of minutes, he flew through the glass windows and started to descend towards the ground. As everyone gasped I burst out laughing. I stopped when his suit rejoined him and made him fly back up again. Damnit!

But thankfully, the Chitari had just arrived. Everyone started to scream and leave the restaurant (which was a stupid move) once they made everything go on fire. The cars, towers, small shops, everything was up in flames. Cars were flipping mid-air while others stopped theirs and ran for their lives. People were now trapped while chaos ensued, and I watched while sipping my coke like nothing was wrong.

"Aren't you gonna leave?!" Ashley stopped to say as she looked at me in bewilderment. I laughed and shook my head.

"Ashley, this is only just the start. Soon you will have to obey the new ruler of the world." I grinned. She swallowed and ran away as a response. Freak, she should have stayed.

I looked up and saw Loki and Thor fighting it out. Loki escaped his brother and flew away on one of the Chitari's. Oh, well there goes Hawkeye, Black Widow and the Captain. They flew to the ground, but got up and talked to each other. Soon they had made up a strategy-- the Redhead and Hawkeye on the ground together, and the Captain fighting it out alone, I assumed. He started to run the opposite direction, shield in hand.

I jumped out the window (breaking it in the process), and ran after him. I found him talking to the police, and killing some Chitari. Once the police left, I tapped the soldier on his back. He turned around and sighed in relief.

"Indi, wh--"

"Shut up." I spat, grabbing him by the neck and throwing him to the ground. I caught him off guard, but once he looked at my eyes he figured out that I was with Loki.

"Indi, you gotta fight it. If Hawkeye can do it, so can you." He said, putting his shield at his side. I laughed and swung my arm like I was throwing a baseball. But, instead of a baseball, it was a glowing ball of fire. The flames hit him and made him fly to the brick wall of a building. He fell to the ground while bricks fell on him. I thought he was dead when he didn't move, but that thought was thwarted when he stood up and shook the dust off his shoulders.

"Please, Indi." Something, I don't know what, made me remember that Loki was the bad guy. New information entered my mind and made my head spin. I shook my head, he was my master.

"You were fighting it! C'mon Indi, you can't let him win. Your eyes were flickering to their normal color!" He exclaimed, taking a step closer to me. I swallowed, my eyesight getting a bit blurry. My head... what did he mean?

"No! Loki is the ruler..." I protested, rubbing my temples. Cap--Dad, he shook his head. He was about to speak when a Chitari came flying at him. He blocked the thing easily and snapped it's head off.

"Indi, please. You don't know what kind of hell I went through when I found out you had been taken. Come back." He was begging now.

"I... I-I don't.. I..." I stuttered, not knowing whether I should just kill him or what.

"Go back to the Helicarrier. This is an order." I heard Loki say. I had an earpiece plugged in, so if anything went wrong I would know.

I ran to the Helicarrier, ignoring Cap's constant cries to stop. I was confused... well, should I go or should I stop? Ah, I haven't felt these mixed emotions about my ruler before. Something happened back there when I was with the Captain. My father...? Why was I not told about this by Loki? I was going to confront him once I got the the Helicarrier. And Hawkeye? What did he mean by "he had fought it?" I'm so befuddled...

As I walked in, I saw Loki glaring at me, arms crossed with a fixed expression.

"My master, you look upset." I said, a little frightened. What did I do?

"Now." Loki demanded. I felt a sudden jolt of pain surge through the back of my skull to all of my body. I shrieked loudly, it felt like I was on fire, a painful type of fire which was inescapable.

And then it all went black.
