First World 1.1 Duke Orchid

After 022 picked a random world, everything blackened around him. He received a stream of information about the unfortunate body he entered, directly into his consciousness.

This world was a western fantasy world with dragons and magic, nobility and slaves. This worlds protagonist is a young girl. Her name was Silfina Rea Calla, illegitimate daughter of Marquis Wilhelm Calla.

Silfinas mother was a poor maid without a family that served the Marquis. One evening, she got violated by the Marquis while he was drunk. Upon opening his eyes the next day and seeing the badly hurt maid next to him, the traces of the night evident on her body, the Marquis sent her to the slums.

The Marquis was a proud man that cared about his reputation more than anything. If it came to light that he raped a maid, not only his reputation would suffer, but also his already strained relationship with his official wife.

After being discarded to the slums, Silfinas mother suffered. She turned out to be pregnant with the Marquis child, but no letter she sent to the Marquis ever received an answer.

When Silfina was born, her mother started to sell her body to earn more money. She did everything so she could raise her daughter and tried to protect her the best she could. Around the time Silfina turned eight her mother died because of a illness she acquired while selling her body.

Silfina might have been a child, but she saw many things in her young life already and had a deep rooted hate for the Marquis, her so called 'father'. She swore to herself to take revenge for her mother.

The next few years, Silfina survived by begging and stealing.

When she turned 14, Silfinas magic awakened. She had fire and light magic. Her magic was so powerful, that upon her awakening her magic went out of control, destroying part of the slums she was staying at.

She was quickly discovered by magicians and nobility.

Her father the Marquis upon receiving the news quickly took her back into the family. He wished to use her, since her talent was great and the fact that she had two magic elements, which is rare, made her even more useful.

Silfina easily acted as if she accepted him as a father. She was more than happy, since she could take revenge even more easily now. She wanted to take over the Marquis family and make her 'father' suffer and beg her for forgiveness.

A year later, at the age of 15, Silfina entered the Imperial Magic Academy. There she meet the male lead, second male lead and all the other cannon fodder, minor villains and of course the big bad 'villainess', Duke Nikolai Viola's eldest daughter, Vera Clare Viola.

Silfina was quickly able to take revenge on the Marquis thanks to the male lead Glen Edwin von Roseville, the first prince of the kingdom of Rosen and it's crown prince. The second male lead, Oswald Arthur Palm, a Duke directly serving the king, also did his best to help her.

Together they had all kinds of adventures, encountering minor villains, helping the kingdom and whatever. After they graduated the Imperial Magic Academy, Silfina married Glen and became the Queen of the Rosen kingdom. Oswald was of course always there supporting her, even after he was rejected and Silfina married his best friend.

Silfina in later generations became known as a beautiful and powerful Queen.

So where was 022?

022 entered the body of Duke Victor Alois Orchid.

What role did this Duke play in this story?

Well, to say it plainly...he was a random cannon fodder.

You want to ask how a Duke, the second most powerful noble rank, serving only under the king, became a random cannon fodder? Naturally, because of the great protagonist.

Victor was 16, a year older than Silfina and the same age as the male leads.

Victor's family died in a assassination attempt when he was only ten years old.

Even if he was only a child, he was burdened with having to take on the responsibilities of his father the Duke.

Over time, Victor developed a cold personality and isolated himself from everyone. He had no close friends in which he could confide in or rely on. The only one he trusted was his father's old assistant. The old man turned into his only aid.

Even if Victor already took his father's title of Duke, he was young and had to enter the Imperial Magic Academy. He had perfect notes and powerful magic. He was seen as one of the stars of the school together with prince Glen and Oswald. He unconsciously charmed the girls with his ice cold personality and handsome looks.

However, his life changed drastically one day.

The protagonist Silfina 'accidentally' fell down the stairs and ended up in his embrace.

Silfina naturally blushed shyly and thanked him for saving her, but Victor was no ignorant child. He met a lot of people already and looked through her scheming facade. He looked down at her coldly and told her that he despised people like her and was disgusted.

Like a good white lotus, Silfina hid her anger and began softly crying. As fate would have it, prince Glen just happened to pass by, shortly followed by Oswald.

At this point in time both of them had already developed tender feelings for Silfina. So upon seeing her crying like that they immediately retaliated and comforted her.

They immediately disliked Victor and made up a plan to destroy the Dukedom of Orchid.

Shortly after, Victor faced many problems, bandits attacked the territory that was under the Dukedom of Orchids influence and a seemingly endless amount of false charges was put on his head.

It took only a year for Victor to be beheaded in public. The last thing he saw was the victorious smile on Silfinas face, then his head rolled and everyone cheered.

022 now Victor sighed. The original Victors life was too tragic. He was but an innocent boy, that saw the cruelty of the world, was able to look through Silfinas act and told the people bluntly what he thought of them. He died because of his honesty and the protagonists pride.

He entered Victor's body on the day the originals misfortune began.

Right now, he was in the Imperial Magic Academy, in history class. Afterwards he would walk to the gardens and encountered Silfina.

But now that he was in charge of this body, he would make sure to change fate and repay debts!
