"Do you know what she looks like?" Sophia asked.

"My father said we were fraternal twins, but he also said it was hard to tell at birth, so I'm not sure, but I think I'll know her when I see her," Ash replied.

"We'll just ask some people if they have ever heard of someone named Melonie," Quinn suggested.

"What if there are multiple people named Melonie?" Sophia asked.

"I'm sure we'll figure it out," Quinn said.

Ash, Sophia, and Quinn continued walking down the path in silence. When they arrived at EmberMoon, Ash led them to Sage's house.

"You know where he lives?" Quinn said kind of rudely.

"Yeah. That night of the party he told me his address in case I needed anything." Ash said back not noticing the rudeness in his voice.

Ash led Quinn and Sophia farther down the road until they came to a house slightly larger than all the others.

"Here we are," Ash said.

Ash walked up the steps to the house and knocked on the door.

"Just a minute!" Yelled a voice from inside.

A few moments later the door swung open.

"Hello. How can I help you?" Sage asked.

"Hey, Sage!" Ash said cheerfully.

"Oh, hey Ash! What do you need?"

"I learned some things about my mother. I was wondering if you help me figure out a little bit more." Ash said.

"I didn't know anything about your mother. I don't think I can help you. Sorry, Ash." Sage said.

"I actually think you can. Could I explain a little bit more?" Ash asked.

"Yeah. Come on in." Sage said as he opened the door wider.

Ash, Sophia, and Quinn walked inside and made themselves comfortable on the couch.

"Do you want something to drink, or to eat?" Sage asked.

"No thank you," Ash said politely.

Sage sat down on the chair across from the couch with a glass of water for himself.

"So what can I help you with?" Sage said.

"I was talking with my father when he told me something about my late mother," Ash said.

"Oh. I'm so sorry Ash." Sage said sympathetically.

"No, don't worry about it. I never really knew her anyway. But I came here because my father told me that when my mother gave birth she gave birth to twins. My father couldn't take care of both of us so he sent my sister away. He said he sent my sister to your village." Ash said.

"Wow. What's her name? I know most of the people here." Sage said.

"Her name is Melonie." Ash said.

"Melonie? There is a Melonie who lives a few streets down from me. Would you like to meet her?" Sage asked.

"Yes! That would be wonderful! Thank you so much, Sage!" Ash said.

Sage led the three of them down a few streets until they came to a cute little cottage at the end of a road. It had a triangle roof and the house was made out of bricks with some vines falling from the roof. It had a rose garden out in front. There was a girl who looked about Ash's age, who was tending to the roses.

"Excuse me." Sage said politely.

"Yes?" Said the girl.

"Your name is Melonie, right?" Sage said.

"Yes, my lord. May I help you?" She asked.

"I have a friend who may have a connection with you. Would you mind speaking with us?" Sage asked.

"Not at all. Come on inside." She said.

"Can you guys hang back?" Ash asked Quinn and Sophia.

"Of course," Sophia said politely.

"No problem," Quinn said watching Sage carefully.

"Thank you both," Ash said.

Ash, Sage, and the girl walked into her house and shut the door behind them.

Ash and Sage sat on two chairs while the girl sat down on the couch. So what can I help you with?" She asked.

"Sorry if this seems blunt, but what is your full name?" Ash said.

"Melonie Colette Keys," Melonie answered. "I was born in WinterField, but I was brought here as a baby. My father's name is Ace Keys." Melonie said.

"What day were you born on?" Ash said on the edge of her seat.

"I was born on August 6," Melonie said. "What does this have to do with me?"

"I was born on August 6. My name is Ash. My father told me I had a twin. I think you're my twin." Ash said with tears in her eyes.

"I have a twin...?" Melonie said.
