Sage was walking back to the house when he was bombarded by Quinn, Melonie, and Sophia.
"I know where Ash is. Here's your weapon. We're going to the stables to get horses so we can travel faster." Melonie explained quickly.
"What are we waiting for?" Sage asked as he grabbed his weapon and started down the path.
They all took off running down the path to the stables. They each took their original horses, and galloped into the dark forest.
The Voice's POV
"Come on. Walk faster." I told Ash.
"What are you going to do about it?" Ash spat back.
Dexter and I had to put a bag over her head so she wouldn't figure out who I was. Dexter was the best person I could find after Mason let himself be capture. I'm not sure Dexter was the best choice for this since he's always frightened, but he is doing this willingly, and it's easier than getting Mason out of the guard tower.
All of the sudden Ash stopped walking.
"Keep moving." I yelled at her. We weren't very far from the metal box which is the entrance to the underground fortress, and I want to get as far away from here as possible.
Ash's POV
"Yes! I did it! I sent a message to Melonie!" I thought to myself. Then I heard the voice yelling at me.
"Come on! Keep moving! We don't have time for this!" He yelled.
I stumbled forward, breaking out of my trance.
"What wrong with you? Come on. Keep moving." He said as he grabbed her arms and started moving her forward.
"Hey! Let go of me!" I yelled as I struggled to get loose.
"Stop struggling!" He yelled at me.
"Fine." I said back as a plan came to mind.
We walked for another minute or so, then I put my plan into action.
They used rope to tie me up, but they didn't tie it very tight so it wasn't hard to get out of. Because one of the guys was behind me holding on to my arms and leading me, I could easily slip off the rope without them noticing.
Next I made sure I held onto the rope, because I was going to use it to tie up the two guys. I didn't know how much rope I had to use to tie them up, so I just hoped there was enough.
"Now for the main part of my plan." I thought to myself.
Then sounds of punches being thrown. I stood perfectly still and waited. Then silence.
"Ash?" Someone asked. It sounded like Quinn.
"Yes! Yes!" It's me!" I shout as I throw my hands out from the rope, and rip the bag from my head.
"Quinn!" I shout as the bag is now gone and I can see again.
"Guess again." Quinn said as his body slowly changed from himself to someone else.
"W-who are you?" I asked, frightened.
"Awww. Don't you recognize me." Said a familiar voice.
"What do you want. I know your weaknesses." I said calmly now knowing who it was.
"I'm not here to fight you. This man, here in the ground, that's Julian. He's the guy who threatened me. I used one of my potions to disguise myself because I knew you'd run if you saw me.
I had calmed down now, but I still wasn't sure why he was helping me.
