They climbed down the dusty, old, wooden ladder into a hollowed out cave.

Bookcase lined the walls with soft leather chairs tucked into each corner. Each chair had its own table with a small candle so you could read your book. In the middle of the room was a long table with chairs all around it. Off in one of the corners of the room there was a small hot spring and coco powder for hot chocolate. There was also some tea bags in a wooden box with a leaf design on it.

"Welcome to my small, yet cozy hideout." Ash said.

"It's sweet." Sophia said.

"All these books are gifts from my people. I've read every book in here from cover to cover." Ash said proudly.

"Every book. That's a lot of books." Quinn said impressed.

"Does anyone want something to drink?" Ash asked.

"Could I have some tea?" Sophia asked.

"No problem. Melonie?" Ash asked.

"Tea of it isn't any hassle." Melonie said.

"Of course, and you, Quinn?"

"Hot chocolate please."Quinn said.

"No problem. Coming right up!"

While Ash made the drinks, Melonie, Quinn, and Sophia explored the books of the the mini library.

"Hey Ash. What's this one?" Melonie asked.

"That one?" Ash said as she pointed to a book. "A little girl, probably about 5 years old named Krystal, gave it to me. It's about a young woman who goes on many adventures to save her village from the dangers of the world." Ash said.

"But by protecting the village, won't the village be unable to defend themselves when the young woman leaves?" Melonie asked.

"That's the twist of the story." Ash replied.

"Well what happens?" Melonie asked.

"You'll have to read to find out." Ash said.

Ash walked over to the long table with the hot chocolate for Quinn and herself, and tea for Melonie and Sophia.

Melonie and Sophia sat on one side of the table, and Ash and Quinn sat on the other side facing them.

"So what's our plan of action?" Quinn asked.

"I'm not sure yet." Ash said.

All of the sudden they could hear horse hooves pounding on the ground above them.

"What's that!" Sophia asked alarmed.

Pieces of dirt were falling from the ceiling

"It sounds like two horses fighting." Quinn said.

"Well look outside, see what's happening." Melonie said.

Ash went over to the ladder, climbed up, and opened the trapdoor just enough to peek her eyes out.

Ash saw Sage's black and white horse, and another horse with Mason on it, fighting very close to the bramble bush. Ash closed the trapdoor and climbed quickly down the ladder.

"It's Mason!" Ash cried.

"Who is he with?" Sophia asked frightened.

"Sage!" Ash said.

"We have to help them!" Quinn stated.

"How? We can give away our hiding spot." Melonie said calmly.
