~jinyoung pov~

my day at the café was really tiring but, i got to meet my friend bambam today and i got really happy because he has been busy for some time now and i'm just happy that i got to meet him again.
the time is now 4:15 pm and mark isn't home, probably because we need some food because i ate kind of much when he was gone.
i decided to help mark with the food when he's  because i'll be guilty if not. i'm too lazy to do anything else right now so i just sat down and started to watch friends again because i'm addicted

after a while and i heard the door open so that means that mark is home.
i went up to greet my roommate when i heard something unusual

meow

"mark?"
i said
he didn't respond so i went to the hall to see what the fuck is happening. i saw mark on the floor with a white kitten on his chest and he still don't know that i'm standing here

"mark"
i said a little louder
he still didn't hear

"MARK"
i almost screamed and now he looked up because i scared him and probably the kitten too.

"oh, hi jinnie"
he said and sat up straight with the kitten in his hands. he gestured for me to come to him and the cat so i walked over to them and sat down.
tbh, the kitten was really cute and i couldn't help but smile a little
"do you wanna hold her?"
he asked and i nodded quickly
he gave me the cat and my heart seriously melted

i cooed and looked up at mark when she purred
mark smiled and scooted nearer us so that he cat pet her too

"why the hell did you get us a cat mark?"
i asked

"i have always wanted a kitten and i've been thinking about getting one for a while now but i am sorry that i didn't tell you"
he said

"it's okay but what are we going to name her?"
i asked

"mmm, charlie?"
that's actually a really good name

"charlie?"
i said and she looked up when i said it
we both laughed

"charlie it is"
mark said and i nodded and continued to play with charlie

"btw mark did you buy like a place where she can shit and stuff?"

"don't swear and yes i did and it's called a litter box you smartass"
i nodded and laughed

"cat food?"

"yes"

"place where she can eat and drink?"
he took a bag and took out a little bowl and another place where her food can be in
i nodded

"litter?"
he nodded

"toys and shit?"

"jinyoung don't swear all the time and no because i thought that you would want to go with me and choose some stuff"
he said and i nodded again

"oh did you buy any food?"
i asked and he took out another bag with food and shit in it

"good okay i'll help you with dinner"
i said and gave him charlie
he nodded and got up

~time skip~

we have been fixing everything for charlie for a while now and we're both too lazy too cook food today so we're just going to eat spicy ramen.

we fixed the ramen and i put on friends (again) we sat down on the couch and charlie sat in mark's lap and we started to eat.

"oh, i met bam today again"
i told mark
