Chapter 2

18 Months Later

Rose POV
The butterflies started again. I thought I was going to be sick. No, I can't be sick on my wedding day. My thoughts shifted to the one man who I wanted here today. To the one man who I still loved. That one man being the Doctor. I shouldn't be thinking about him but I can't stop. I haven't seen him in a year and a half. I often wonder if he's okay. If he's alone in the TARDIS. If he thinks about me. My thoughts are interrupted by a knocking on my door.
"Rose sweetie, are you ready?" It was my mum.
"Come on big sis open up!" Called my six year old little brother Toby.
I stand up and open the door to see two smiling faces up at me.
"Come on then" I say "Time for me to go get married"

John POV
The music starts and I turn around and see my gorgeous fiancé. No, soon to be wife. Rose's hair was in a high bun with a few strands of curled hair down each side of her soft heart shaped face. Her make up was subtle yet sophisticated. Her plump lips were rose red. Her eye shadow was as close to TARDIS blue as possible. As she walked down the aisle with her parallel dad Pete, her coffee brown eyes landing on me and my heart skipped a beat all over again.

Rose POV
"Do you John Smith take Rose Marion Tyler to be your lawfully wedded wife?" Asked the vicar to John
"I Do!" John replied to the vicar his eyes never leaving mine.
"And do you Rose Marion Tyler take John Smith to be your lawfully wedded husband?" The vicar asked me.

beat passed and I replied.
"I do!" I exclaimed
"With the power invested in me I now pronounce you Husband and Wife! You may now kiss the br-" the vicar was cut short by John as he pulled me towards him and kissed me. All in that moment, everything froze. The only thing in motion was mine and John's lips connected together as one. To the onlookers it was hard to distinguish where I started and John ended. Our moment was interrupted by the sound of my family shouting "Get a room". I smile and look out towards the small crowd that consisted of my family. I think I see someone familiar just standing there at the back. It looked like the Doctor. No it can't be. Can it? As soon as I blink he disappears and I say to myself that it was just a vision. I turn back to my new husband and we walk out towards the reception. Completely oblivious to the storm that lay ahead.
