The view of the beach is beautiful! The water is crystal clear or so Cadence tells us, neither me or Riley have actually gotten in the water yet. Riley hardly ever gets in the water when she goes to the beach, she says it's because she doesn't want to mess up her straightened hair. I haven't gotten in yet because I want to lay out until I can't take the heat anymore. I love the feeling of the sun beating down on my back.

"Guys, come on! Get in!" I open my eyes to see Cadence walking out of the ocean with his hair and body dripping wet. Agh so hot! He walks up to me and grabs my arm trying to pull me off the beach chair. I sit up with both legs wrapped around the chair, I turn to look at Riley who is still laying out listening to her music.

"Okay, fine I'll come just give me a second" I then turn around to the bag we brought and take out the suncreen. I apply a small amount to my shoulders and then follow Cadence down the beach. Cadence starts running full speed into the ocean. I stand there for a second just admiring how beautiful he looks with his wet dirty blonde hair against his already tan skin. I wish I knew how he feels about me. Sometimes he acts like he might actually have feelings for me, others he acts like I'm his little sister.

I finally follow him into the ocean after my few seconds of admiration. The water is freezing cold, but I don't really mind it. I look down at my feet, which I can see perfectly clear even though I'm already waist deep in the water. I look back up and I realize that Cadence isn't there. I look around, but I don't see him anywhere. Before I even know what's going on, Cadence comes up behind me and picks me up and holds me the same way a groom holds his bride on their honeymoon. I want that moment to last forever I want him to just lean down and kiss me, but I know he never will and that kills me. I have been madly in love with Cadence for as long as I can remember, and he's never noticed. The moment left just as soon as it came because next thing I knew Cadence was throwing me into the ocean. I tried to stand up, but then a huge wave took me under scraping my skin against the sand and making the salt water go down my throat.

I finally get up, not really pissed but I decided to pretend like I was anyway. "You little bitch!" He knew I wasn't mad though because I couldn't help but smile. I could never stay mad at Cadence. Cadence starts bust out laughing, so I flip him off. I decide I have had enough of the ocean as of right now, so I start to head back to where I was laying. I dry off a little bit before I laid back down. I close my eyes when Riley out of nowhere says, "I know you like him Bailey" this shocked me, I thought that no one knew.

"w-what are you talking about? I d-do not!" I stuttered so of course she knew I was lying, I always stutter when I lie.

"Yea you do. It's written all over your face every time you look at him."

"Do you think he knows?"

"Hmmm, more than likely not. He's a guy and guys are stupid."

That took some of the stress away. I didn't want Cadence to know, it would make things awkward between us and I didn't want that.

"He definitely likes you back though." That one sentence made my heart stop. Is there a possibility that Cadence could like me back? That would be the best thing ever. "I see the way he looks at you, he likes you even if he doesn't know it yet. I promise you by the end of this summer you and him will be a thing. They don't call me 'the match maker' for nothing." Riley was now propped up on her arm looking at me.

" I doubt he likes me like that." As I say that I know a part of me is holding on to that little chance that he possibly could.

"Bailey!" Riley was sitting up now with her legs crossed. I knew she had an idea by the way her face lit up.

"I know the perfect way to get him to admit he likes you!"

"Yea, and how is that?" I was now sitting up the same way she was.

"We are all going to get drunk tonight and I will ask him if he likes you or not. Everyone knows that people always tell the truth whenever they are drunk."

Hmmm I mean Riley's idea wasn't that bad. I turned to look at Cadence who was still in the water. I was dying to know if he liked me like that or not. I turned back to look at Riley and I smiled a smile so big she knew exactly what my answer was.

She then starts to yell at Cadence to come over to where we were. Cadence then starts to run at us full speed. When he finally gets to where we are he shakes his hair like a dog does and gets us all wet. I didn't mind it though the cool water felt nice. Riley then starts to talk, "Okay, so me and Bailey both think we should all get drunk tonight since it's our first night here, what do you think?"

"That sounds cool" Cadence then plops down into the sand right in front of us. He looks so hot just sitting there. I can't wait for tonight, because tonight I will get the answer I have been dying to hear since forever.
