Love = Pain

You build a wall around your heart
So high just because you were scared
You were scared of your emotions
Scared they will take over
Scared that people I know your hurting
Because if people know that your hurting
You would have to be honest
And you have been lying for so long that you are starting to believe what you tell people
You begin to believe the lies that you tell
They come out of your mouth with so much ease that it scares you sometimes
So that why you built the wall around your heart, because you were scared
You could feel your wall beginning to crumple
And you knew exactly why
It was because you made the decision to let someone in
To let someone past your lies
To let them see your emotions
And sense you hid them for so long they built up
And you can't control them
And that is what scares you the most
Because you love being in control
It is the only thing keeping you sane
It's been the only thing keep you sane for years
But now that something or someone has replaced that
You are losing that control
Which was helping you fight the internal battle you were having with yourself
Which means sense you are losing control
You are losing the battle
And you know the consequences if you lose
You will fall apart
Your wall will crumple
Your wall will burn
And everything you have been hiding from the world will come out and take control
And you will lose yourself
But more importantly it means you will lose the love of your life
So everyday you continue to fight
Even though it's painful
But what is Love without a little pain
