Grace POV
Kate just left. I have no idea what her problem is. So we put Seth on the list of suspects? No biggie. Cheryl was right, Seth could be blackmailing me, for all we know.
"Well that was dramatic" Ashlyn says
"No kidding" I say.
"Who else could have done it?" Caylie asks.
We all think. Only three people are on the list.
"Just to be cautious, we should add Draytin" says Cheryl.
I jot it down. I hate Draytin. He hates me. Why would he tell me to ask him out? Maybe he wants to embarrass me? I don't know, but I write him down anyways.

Still Grace's POV
It's Friday afternoon. Recess. I'm talking with my friends. (With the exception of Kate, she is still mad at us) I was forced to ask Draytin out 4 days ago.
But now, he is walking up to me, a trace of a smile plastered on his face.
"I need to talk to you" he says, looking me straight it the eyes.
I raise my eyebrows. If looks could kill, I'd be dead by now.
"No" I say. "I will not talk to you. Not alone, at least"
"Is this because I rejected you?" he says
"No. It is because I hate you" I smile. I won't let him think that I was hurt by his rejection. I only asked him out because I had to.
"Fine" he says "I'll just say it right here"
I frown. Anyone could hear what he has to say right here, and it most likely has to do with him asking me out. I don't want people to hear about that.
"Fine. I'll talk to you" I say, rolling my eyes.
I let him lead me away from my friends, and stand there with my arms crossed, waiting for him to start talking.
"I've been thinking. About what you asked me on Monday." He begins. "And, I realize I didn't actually give you an answer"
Here it comes, the definite no. It's going to be funny.
"And my answer is yes"
What? Yes? His answer is yes? Wow. Just- wow.
I burst out laughing. He stares at me. Probably thinking how this isn't a funny moment, and I'm a crazy person for laughing at it.
"Did I say something funny?" he asks, still staring at me.
"That was a dare!" I say, still laughing my head off.
He suddenly looks red. Like, really red.
Still laughing, I walk back to my friends.
"What was that all about?" Alex asks, staring at my historical fit.
"He said yes!" I say, trying to calm down from my historics.
"To you asking him out?" Cheryl asks.
I nod, and they all start laughing.
"What did you say to that?" Caylie asks.
"I told him it was a dare, and then he went speechless!"
"Draytin? Speechless? Wow." Caylie says.
"Well" Ashlyn say, not laughing anymore. "I think we can all agree that Draytin can be crossed off the list now"
We all agree. That wasn't embarrassing for me, it was embarrassing for him. Why would Draytin embarrass himself?
I know this was a short chapter, but it's funny, isn't it? I bet no one was expecting that!
