Holocene-Bon Iver
"Ready?" Lily approached Remus who was waiting patiently on the sofa. He was reading from a book that had all of Edgar Allen Poe's work in it.
Remus took off his reading glasses and placed them on top of the book. He didn't really need them, he just liked how they looked with them on.
The two shared a smile and made their way out the door. The door across the hall is slightly open and Lily stops.
"We're getting new neighbors?! Finally." Lily laughs and continued to make her way to the elevator.
"Maybe we could be friends with them. Like, if they're our age. We can invite them over for dinner and have parties. It'll be so much fun don't you think?"
"Lils I think you're getting a bit too excited. What if they end up being rude?" The elevator door opens and they make their way out the building. "Remmy you think everyone is rude. Hey look!" Lily pointed out the giant moving truck.
Three boys lugged boxes towards the entrance. The first of the three was tall and fit with wavy black hair. The next boy was a bit shorter with long hair similar in color to the first boy and grey eyes. Lastly, the shortest of the three has blonde hair and almost blue eyes.
Remus' eyes met with the silver eyed boy. They watched each other as they passed by. Their gaze broke when the blonde suddenly tripped and fell to the ground, landing on top of his small box.
"Blimey Pete are you alright?" The other two boys set their boxes down and began to help their friend up.
Lily placed the small objects that fell into the box they belong in. She looked up at the boys who all watched her quietly.
"I'm Lily, I live in apartment 4c." She stood up straight and offered her hand to the three. "This is my roommate Remus, he's a bit shy." Remus' face turned scarlet as he too shook their hands.
"Nice to meet you two, I'm James. This here is my best mate Sirius." James made a motion to the long haired boy. "And this klutz is Peter. We actually just moved into apartment 4d. I think we might be across the hall, correct?"
Lily nodded her head with a big grin on her face. Remus stood behind her fiddling with his fingers. "If you need anything, anything at all, we'll be happy to help. Right Remus?" She nudged his arm and he cleared his throat. "Right." He was hardly audible.
"Why don't you three come by for dinner? I bet you'll be too busy settling in to have a proper meal." Lily was too nice for her own good.
"We'd love to." James flashed Lily a charming smile. "If you don't mind, we're gonna finish taking our things upstairs. See you later." Peter stated. Remus sighed of relief that the conversation was finally over. Sirius noticed and frowned a little. Is there something wrong with me?
They said goodbye and went their separate ways. Remus walked much faster than Lily. How could she invite strangers over to our home? Lily caught up and placed her hand on his shoulder.
"Remus it's just a meal. They seem nice. Maybe we can finally make some friends." Remus raised his eyebrow. "Friends? We have each other. What more do we need?"
"Well I mean, that James was quiet cute don't you think?" Remus rolled his eyes at her.
"You fancy him don't you? Is that why you invited them over?" Lily shrugged.
"And they seem interesting, especially Sirius. Did you see the way he looked at you? He's definitely into you." She giggled at her friend as he turned red once more. "Now, let's go find some new books."

It was 6:00pm and the boys finally finished unpacking. They didn't bring much knowing the rooms weren't that big. Peter and James were asleep on the sofa, worn out from all they did.
Sirius figured he should shower before heading to dinner. He gathered his clothes from his room and made his way to the bathroom. He removed his shirt, revealing his arms. His left arm was littered with tiny pink and red lines. A deeper scar went across both wrists.
He didn't like to look at his scars. They only reminded him of a bad time. When everything seemed like it would never get better.
Sirius let out a sigh and quickly got washed up. When he was changed into clean clothes, he woke up his friends. They stirred in their sleep when he called out their names.
"James, Peter, you have to get up. If we don't go it would make us look rude." Peter stretched and yawned loudly resulting in James waking up and punching Peters stomach.
"What does it take to get a decent nap? I have been up all day going up and down this building and I can't get even rest." James huffed and put his head back down.
"Sorry to wake you from your beauty sleep, but did you forget you agreed to head over to Remus and Lily's place for dinner?" James shot up from the couch and bolted to his room.
Sirius waited for the other two to finish getting ready. A soft knock came from the door and he got up to answer it. He opened the door to reveal the short girl he met earlier that day.
"Hello Lily." She gave him a warm smile.
"Hi Sirius, I just wanted to let you all know dinner is ready. The door will be unlocked." Lily spun around and walked back into her home. Sirius spot Remus setting up the table. He looked up from the table and met Sirius' eyes once again.
Before Sirius shut the door he shot Remus a
smirk."PETER! JAMES! WE'RE LEAVING!"
Each chapter is going to have a mood board to go along with it. I also made some for each of the characters.
