Cast out of heaven, he fell to earth
The fallen angel crashed and burned
Wounded and broken, he bled from his heart
Damned for eternity because he refused his part.

Bitter laugh stained his lips as he accepted his fate
Living among the humans that he hated
Trying to get up, he fell down again
Too weak to stand, he just lay there.
______

Until some humans came and helped him up
A celestial being healed by lowly creatures
The animals he despised and rebelled against
Now supported him as he got well.
______

Fallen from grace, he lived with these people
Who gave him all the love they had in the world
Among them, he felt at home at last
He decided to protect them at all costs.
______

But he forgot he was eternal
And they were weak and mortal
One by one, they succumbed to Death
Lonely again, he begged for forgiveness.

He went to Hell to repent for his sins
And the Fallen Angel hasn't left it since
He says he's the Devil who only causes pain
His broken heart refuses to heal again.
