*Amber's POV*

My sister is pacing in her room. It's 8am. I get up and bang on her door.

"Quiet down will ya?" When I don't get a reply, I walk back to my room.

I brush my teeth and walk downstairs for breakfast.

"Hey honey, after you eat can you get your sister to come down?" My mom hands me a plate of breakfast.

"Okay. Thanks mom."

After I finish eating, I yell for Anna.

"Not like that Amber." We both laugh and Anna marches down the stairs. My mom and I discreetly glance at each other as we await an angry Anna to arrive.

"Why must you yell? I am here."

"Breakfast!" I hand her a plate and smile like a happy child. She rolls her eyes and sits down to eat her breakfast.

*time passes*

Dad and the policeman arrives as I go upstairs. Anna comes downstairs in her sophisticated, casual look.

I pass by her room and stop to close her door. Instead, I end up going inside. I clean up the all the clutter in her room. As I arrange her textbooks, flashcards fall out. I read them.

Wait, what.

"Did you hear from Ethan around the time he went missing?"

"What was your initial reaction to the news?"

Did she practice for her questioning? In the distance, I hear Anna crying. There is no way she practiced for this. I take the flashcards and put them in my pocket. When I finish cleaning her room, I go back to my own. What is going on with Anna?

After her questioning is over, she goes back to her room.

"Amber!" She marches into my room.

"Yes Anna." I pause my video and look up at her.

"You were in my room, once again." What is her issue?

"Yes, kindly cleaning it."

"Okay."

"Okay." She just stands there, glaring at me.

"Leave my room, Anna."

"Why did you take my flashcards?"

"Why did you need them?"

"Do you know how hard questioning is to get through? You are so rude. Everything does not come by easy like it does for you Amber."

"Is that how you feel?" Oh dear.

"Yes, it is." She bursts into tears and rushes into my arms. I move aside my laptop to  stroke my twin's hair softly.

"Not everything comes by easy for me. Look at you, good grades, everyone likes you, you have no reason to be sad."

"Me? You are a cheerleader, everyone loves you. You have the looks."

"I love you, sis. What everyone thinks does not matter. What matters is what you think. Okay?"

"You're right. Thanks, Amber."

*Anna's POV*

Amber is so fake. She better keep her mouth shut about those flashcards. I don't need her pity. I lie in my bed and think about my dysfunctional life. I suddenly get a text from Zara. She asked how I was doing. Zara is different. Zara actually cares.

We'll hang out tomorrow.

We'll have...fun.
