*Anna's POV*

It's time. My mom knocks on my door and tells me to come down soon.
"I'm so proud of you. If only Amber were here to see this. When you're done, come down for breakfast." My mother says.
I'm proud too. I'm going to ignore that other comment. I put on my dress.

I then wear my graduation gown

I then wear my graduation gown. A nice baby blue gown with a black cap. I style my hair.

I go downstairs. My mother and father both grin widely at me.
"Move in for a photo." My mom says. She wipes tears from her face and hugs me tightly.
"Mom...you're killing me." I say this hoarsely. She let's go and laughs lightly.
"Okay picture time."
My mom wraps her arm around me, smiling.
"3, 2, 1, cheese!" He snaps a photo and smiles.
"Wait one more." He sets the timer and scurries to the right side of me.

The picture is taken. My mom and dad stare at me.
"What?"
"You're all grown up now. You were in my womb just the other day." My mom is so emotional.
"I'm still here mom. College is in a couple of months. Don't worry." I give a reassuring smile. She sniffles.
"Okay let us go, we wouldn't want to be late." My dad says this calmly.

*time passes*

"Anna Davis, as Valedictorian."
I smile and step up to the stage. I am finally here. This is my time.

After I say my speech, everyone claps. It was a great speech if I do say so myself.

"Congratulations class of 2018! You have graduated!"
Everyone yells in excitement. The iconic graduation cap through is in motion. I can admit, I threw my cap up also. I'm proud.

——-The Next Day——-

Today is the football game. Everyone is blowing up my phone to be there. I guess I'll go. I pick out a cute outfit.

Nowadays, I don't really wear much of my blouses

Nowadays, I don't really wear much of my blouses. I've let loose a bit. Since Amber has been gone, life has been quite stress-free. I feel much better. She was an obstacle and I got over it.

Keke comes to pick me up. I met her at graduation. She's a junior who came to support her brother.

"Get in!" She stretches across and opens the car door

"Get in!" She stretches across and opens the car door. I quickly rush in. I notice there are two other people in the back.
"Oh, that's my friends Jeremiah and Casey." I smile at the two of them
"You look cute." Casey says, silently applauding.
"Right, she looks actually...good." Jeremiah says. Wow, just drag me.
"Thanks, I guess."

We finally arrive at the party, after getting lost twice! His house is huge!

Everyone rushes out of the car to get a better look. From afar, I see a familiar face.

Dom.

He spots me from across the driveway. Is he really wearing the same hoodie?

He walks over to me and takes my hand. Keke, Casey, and Jeremiah wiggle their eyebrows from behind him. It is so hard to hold in my laugh. He is really handsome.

Which is besides the point.

"Yes Dom?" I ask mesmerized by his glance.
"Ready to have some fun?" He asks. He's so fun, how could I say no?
"Yeah, I am." He grins widely.

This evening is going to be captivating.
