Bella set up the mark for the finish line, then she turned around ran to Bon Bon, who was waiting for her. "Come on, let's do this! I wanna win already!" Bon Bon said impatiently, he stretched out his arms and legs. "Ok, ok." Bella said, she also stretched. They ran at full speed, their arms and legs a blur as they raced across the party room. They raced into the kitchen, startling Baby, who was helping Ballora make lunch.
"Hey! Slow down you two!" Baby shouted as they raced away. Bella was getting faster, she was sure she was gonna win. But then Bon Bon was at her heels, he was catching up to her. Not for long, Bella thought, I'm gonna win today. As they ran, they startled many people walking by, rushing to get out of the way. They were almost at the finish line, Bella could see her victory from just a few inches away. She was right about to cross it when Bon Bon ran straight into her, sending the two tumbling into Ballora Gallery. They both tumbled to a stop with Bon Bon on top of her, and their mouths touching.
Blushing, Bon Bon got up and away from her. Bella, who could care less about the incident, jumped up with glee. "Yes! I win! And you pushed me to victory Bon!" Bella laughed, she twirled herself and clapped. "Whatever." Bon Bon snorted, but he was still blushing. Bella gave him a hug, causing him to freeze. They broke the hug when Baby announced that lunch was ready. "Race you there!" Bella said as she shot off. Bon Bon stared after her, shook his head, and ran. What he didn't notice though, was the sparkles in her eyes before she left.
