Chapter 21: He's Alive!! (The Agreement)

Bella woke up first, sunlight reflecting off her yellow eyes, and she looked to see if Bon Bon was still there. He was. Excitement ran through her as she then realized that her dead boyfriend was actually alive. She carefully got out of Bon's arms and race-walked to where her parents and other sisters slept. Bella jumped on her father, then shook her mother awake, screaming at them, "He's alive!! He's alive!! Come see!!" Baby and Foxy with two sleepy sisters followed Bella to where Bon Bon still slept. Freddy heard the noise, and Ballora was curious. Soon everyone was in the room, wondering in confusion at what Bella meant when she said he was 'alive'.

Bella stood by the sleeping bunny and said, "Last night I went here, and I wanted to say goodbye. But when I was giving him a last kiss, he kissed back!" Bella smiled as she waited to hear gasps of amazement and see tears of joy. But none came. All that was exchanged were concerned looks and a scowl from Heather. "Oh my God, you kissed a corpse?? Eww!!" Heather said, crossing her arms and shaking her head in disgust. Bella, shocked, said, "He's not a corpse! He's alive and I know it!! We slept together, and he said he loved me." Baby stepped forward as worried whispers went among the small crowd. Baby knelt to her daughter's height and said softly, "Honey, he isn't alive. You dreamed that happened because you were grieving so much over him. But it's ok to be sad, and we'll get over this together." Bella, stunned and disturbed by her mother saying that he wasn't alive, protested, "But he is alive!! He said he would never leave me......He promised....." Bella began to cry, afraid that what happened last night really was a dream, and that she was delusional since she was grieving. 

Bella buried herself into her mother's arms, and sobbed. Freddy looked sadly at Ballora, who wiped away a tear. Heather, who was angry before, now felt sad for Bella. Because she knew how much Bon meant to her. Alex stared confusingly at the sleeping bunny, and saw something move. "Hey! He's moving! Look!" Alex shouted as Bon Bon began to wake up. Everyone stared as the little guy yawned and stretched his arms. Alex then stated innocently, "He woke up from a long nap." Everyone swarmed Bon, especially Freddy, who cried with joy. Bon Bon smiled as he was welcomed back, but looked in confusion at Bella's tears. "They told me that last night was a dream, and I really believed that you were dead." Bella explained, she stood by him. Bon Bon took Bella close and said, "Didn't I say I would never leave you?? I love you forever, Bella." Bella smiled, but Foxy interrupted them. "Bon Bon, can I speak to you??" Foxy said, Bon Bon nodded and walked out of the room. A few moments later, they came back in, both smiling. Bella went close to her boyfriend and said, "What did he say to you?? Bon Bon hugged her, "He said that all that's happened in the past was forgotten. And that he appreciates that I saved you. And that we are allowed to see each other, but with a few rules." Bella turned to her father, "Daddy, I'm a big girl now." Foxy smiled and said, "Well I'm still your father, like it or not, there are rules." Baby stepped in and said, "But there is an exception to every rule, though. And that is you can date each other, but you can't do any sexual activities." Baby raised an eyebrow at the two, and they smiled at each other. "Ok." They both said, happy enough that they were allowed to date. "And that's that." Freddy said satisfied.
