Bon Bon sat relaxed in his hammock, thinking about last night's events. He thought about Bella sleeping with a little smile on her face. This calmed him, knowing that he owned her now, and that nothing could ever separate them. Just as he sighed with contentment, he heard pounding footsteps scurry across the tile floor to the room he was in. Startled, he went to see who it was, half expecting Bonnet to come, considering he hadn't seen his sibling in weeks. But to his surprise, it was Bella.  The small girl was holding a bag of things over her shoulder as she ran to him. She came to a halt, and Bon Bon got a good look at her face.

Her face was tear-streaked, and her eyes were red from crying. Her bottom lip jutted out, making her look more like her natural age, and her eyes held a bucketfull of emotions, ranging from anger to sadness. Bon Bon began to question her look, but didn't say anything about it, he was more concerned about what she was doing. "What's going on, muffin??" He asked with a worried expression. Bella huffed, and plopped her stuff down, she wiped her eyes, and explained her plan. "I'm running away, don't ask why, I just want you to come with me." Her voice was thick and was layered with a tone of frustration, but there was also a hint of determination, strong and confident. Bon Bon blinked, he then realized what the bag was for, and began to protest, "Bella, sweetie. Why are you running away??" Bella looked like she didn't have time to explain, she instead just scowled and said stubbornly, "Because WE have to. Come on, I'll explain later." Bon Bon wanted to press more on the subject, but he followed her, hoping to get enough answers before they would run too far away.

Once the two made it outside, Bon Bon tried to get her to open up, but Bella grabbed him and started running. They ran through a small forest in the back of the building, and leaves and branches scratched the two as they ran straight past them. Bon Bon tried to get Bella to slow down, but it was no use, she was like a rocket. "Bella, slow down!!" Bon Bon shouted as she sped through bushes. Bella, hoping she was far enough away to not get caught, slowed down. Bon Bon, grateful that she finally listened to him, now wanted to ask why she was doing all this. "Bella, why did we just run away from safety?? From HOME??" Bella put her things down, and stared at the ground. "Cause stupid Heather got me in more trouble! Now Momma is mad at me and she told me that she was gonna tell papa and I said I was gonna run away." Bella's tail wrapped around her legs so she could pull twigs out of it. Bon Bon looked at Bella, and sat down,"Your parents are gonna kill us, do they even know I'm with you??" He said this sourly, even though he tried his very best to be kind to Bella. "They probably don't at the moment, but sooner or later they'll assume that I'm with you." Bella said as she began to unpack her stuff. "Bella, this is crazy! You can't just run away from your problems, we are going back right now." Bon Bon turned to walk away when Bella quickly latched onto him, her eyes went huge with pleading. "Please stay! I just couldn't take it anymore, if you love me then please stay........please....." tears brimmed in her eyes as she covered her face. "But.....your parents will worry about you....." Bon Bon couldn't stand seeing her so unhappy, he caressed her sweet little face and wiped away her tears.

"Please, just for a few days, Bon..........just give it time.....please...." Bella looked up at him with large, sad eyes and a jutted out bottom lip. Bon Bon, who gave into his heart easily, nodded and said, "Okay, we'll stay.....for a few days." Bella, thankful, hugged him as her tears stared to over flow. Bon Bon hugged her back, hard. He whispered sweet things into her ears and rubbed her back.
