Chapter name: space

Today was the day.

The day that my best friend, crush, Alex Riley, goes to space.

And I couldn't stop crying.

I was cryin in my sister's chest. She was rubbing my back and saying soothing words, but I just kept crying

And crying

The tears never had an end. Alex had asked me to go see him before he went. I of course agreed. And I was on my way to go see him.

Time skip

I was the last one to go in to see him, when I saw him, my heart practically leaped. He was so hot, I can't imagine how I looked, with my puffy eyes and red nose.

"Alex" I said, my voice wavering and I ran to hugged him.

"Y/n" he breathed. I closed my eyes and started sobbing.

"Today's the day huh?" I Said in his neck with a sad smile. Tears ran down my cheek once more.

"Ya.." he said.

"I'll miss you so much!" I Said, leaving the hug and instantly feeling cold

"I'll miss you so much too! I-" he was cut off

"One more minute" the worker guy said

That made us both frown.

"Y/n I-" he started but then I pulled him close to kiss him. I tangled my hand in his hair and deepened it. His eyes widened but soon closed. His arms found my waist. For a moment, we forgot about Nori, and the fact he was going to space. We broke apart and I started playing with his hair.

"Y/n- I just, Gosh how do I say this?"

"Oh. Right. You like Nori. I forgot. I love you." Then I walked out of the room, leaving him star struck

Every loved one of Alex's went outside to watch Alex fly off. Suddenly, there was a count down. My heart dropped

Then he was gone. Just like that. Alex Riley has gone to space. It had been his dream, but I felt hurt. I started crying in my sisters chest who had come to support me.

I felt hands on my shoulders, pulling me away from my sister and into their warm embrace. I looked up to see...

Him.

He didn't leave me.

He brought my face close and kissed my passionately. Everything stopped and nothing felt important at that moment except his warmth he was giving me. We pulled apart but stayed for head to forehead and he whispered to me "I was going to say, how do I say, I love you."
