Chapter name: nightmares
Jacks POV:
I woke up to y/n thrashing. Recently, she has been having a ton of nightmares, and I always try to be there when she does.
"Y/n? Y/n!" I shook her so she could wake. Her eyes were glossy but I saw the relief in her eyes when she saw me.
"Jack" she whispered into my ear as she hugged me. I could feel the tears getting my shirt wet.
"I though you were gone" she cried even harder
"Shhh, baby, I'm right here! I would never leave you" I exclaimed, rubbing her back.
"Promise?" She squeaked
"Promise" I confirmed. She laid herself on top of me then drifted off to sleep again. I kissed her head and temples, then fell asleep with my arms rapped around her.
