One Day- Eddie Kaspbrak

Kristina's POV:

His teeth shimmered as his wide smile made him look angelic. He made her forget the fact that they was standing in a blue flower field.

His hand ran through her soft hair.

His eyes twinkled. They started to lean in.

"Kristina" he whispered quietly

"Not now"

"Kristina. Wake up."

Her heart filled with sadness as she realized that this was just a dream.

"Y-yes?" I asked, opening my eyes to meet his brown one. My heart suddenly fluttered.

"Class is over. I suggest waking up so you can head to your next class"

I looked around, now realizing that I fell asleep at school. How did I miss this huge detail?

"Oh- uh- thanks" I Said nervously. I quickly packed my stuff and sped walked down the hallway.

That was embarrassing. Falling asleep in front of my crush?

Maybe if I had looked back at him as I shuffled my way through the hallway, I would have seen the hurt in his eyes. Maybe if I had noticed, he wouldn't be with her.

As I look up into the starry night, I think about my future, one that I want to share with him. I think about a universe where she doesn't exist. Perhaps one day he'll be mine.

One day.
