EreMika FanFiction: Realisation

I'm back. This fanfic is dedicated to the SNK pair, Eren and Mikasa.

You will only realise that you love her when you let her go.

When I was young, I viewed Mikasa as a caring, loyal and protective friend.

But when I grew up and joined the Scouting Legion, she became an annoying stranger.

As a result, I always shunned her aside,sometimes even yelling and physically hurting her.

She was still always there for me, knowing that in a way, I needed her.

Until one day.

I guessed I failed to notice the feelings towards me, and that when everyday, while her care for me grew, my care for her shrunk.

Now I knew why she had left me.

Every word I said, I didn't notice the tears in her eyes, ready to spring out of her eyes and flow down her face.

Every breath I took, I didn't notice the knives in her heart, piercing away mercilessly.

Every step I made, I failed to notice the damages I had done to her soul.

Had I known that I had damaged her that badly, I would have took it all back.

But it was too late.
