It was morning and I was walking around the village before dragon training. I was boorreedd. I had snuck out of the forge after Gobber made hiccup work in the forge saying he had been slacking off. More than I was.

It was the sad truth.

I walked towards the arena, not really knowing where I was going. I had three hours before training and I practically wasted it. The first hour was spent watching my brother. I don't know why, I mean I do it everyday so I could've been doing something else.

The other walking around like down to the harbour, back at the forge, up to Gothi but quickly turned back and now- i looked up at the sun- i have forty minutes left. I sighed as I slowly entered the room. Might as well wait for the others. I sat at the entrance of the ring.

This felt odd.

This felt weird.

You could just feel the death and dispair in the air and it made me shiver.

'Why did I think this was a good idea to wait for the others? I don't even like being here.'

Feeling slightly overwhelmed by the suddenly depressed aura of the ring I got up and turned to leave but then I heard a whisper. I slowly turned around and scanned the area with an eyebrow raised. No one. Nothing. Nada. Zip.

"You" I heard. It sounded in the back of my head, a female voice. It was like when I met toothless and the terror meaning it was a dragon as I shook off the warm feeling. Just to be sure, I pointed my finger to my chest. "Me?"

"Yes, YOU" the dragon said. "You smell like him"

I'm confused now. Who do I smell like, and why did she see the need to tell me about my smell. It can't be that bad, right? I quickly took a sniff and it wasn't bad.

"Umm, ok. Who are you?" I asked walking further into the arena to stop in front of the cage doors. I wanted to see if I could get any indication of which dragon it was but the she-dragon didn't answer.

"That doesn't concern you human" she said after a few moments. I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms "And my smell does?"

"Yes" she replied rather sassily if yuh ask me. I was getting annoyed with her cryptic answers. "Why?"

"You smell like him. You smell like the Dragon Prince. I want to know why" Geez, she reminds me of a certain blonde.

"Who is this Prince?" I asked. The only dragon I had been around was...... I am oh so greatly confused.

"The Prince of the nest. The child of the Queen. One of the most dangerous dragons in the nest. Prince Nerezzi and you have his scent all over you." She said.

Her words knocked the air out of me. 'Prince? Nerezzi is a freaking Prince? You have got to be kidding me'

"No way. Nerezzi is a Prince?" I whispered outloud and to myself but the she dragon heard. "How do you know the Prince?" She exclaimed which left me clutching my heard as pain shot through it. I know I'm gonna have a headache later.

"Hicca?" I turned my head so hard I'm surprised I didn't get whiplash. There stood Astrid in all her glory and new axe with a questioning look on her face. "What are you doing?"

"Trying to figure out which door holds a quick way to death" I answered sarcastically.

She scowled and walked further into the arena coming my way but the others walked through the gates.

'Great timing'

I dashed towards Gobber and by brother and faked a cough. "Hey Gobber, I'm not feeling so good. My throat hurts and I'm starting to get a headache" I said making my voice seemed hoarse. It wasn't a whole lie. I was getting a headache from when the dragon yelled at me.
