Patton P.O.V.

As soon as I stroke his hair, I could feel his breathing getting heavier and heavier until, eventually, he fell asleep. Poor little anxious baby. He hadn't slept in days. Once I knew he was out for good, I picked up a pillow near me, lifted his head, smoothly lied it down on the cushion and stood up. I gathered his favourite blanket and covered his body to keep him warm. I quietly left his room and closed his door again. I head to the living room to see Logan and Thomas practicing lines for the play Thomas got cast in. Roman was in the kitchen staring at the letter Virgil gave him.

"Hey, you okay buddy..?" I ask to Roman.

"I don't know what to do... "he says. "He said such sweet things in his letters and I just threw everything down the invisible trash can of heartbreaks. I don't think he will ever forgive me..." All of his attention was to the piece of paper he holds tightly in his hands.

"Oh don't say that. He'll forgive you! You just have to give him some time."

"I- I made a mistake. I panicked! When I found out he was the one making me so happy, I didn't know what to do. I was scared. All the things he made me feel in just a couple phrases! I couldn't possibly contest against that! I just, couldn't..." he announces sobbing through his words.

"Oh Roman... It's okay to be scared! Everyone is scared once in a while. You can't always be the bravest of them all. You know you messed up and you're trying to fix that. That is what matters. You have to learn from your mistakes."

"But I can't fix it alone. Virgil has to try as well but I know he doesn't want to, and I understand completely." he replies, looking straight into my eyes.

"I'll take care of that, alright? Now go get some rest. You need it."

"O-okay... Thank you Patton."

"You're welcome kiddo."

Virgil P.O.V.

It is 8 o'clock in the morning and I just woke up. Wow. I really needed that. Patton will be hear soon to bring me breakfast. He always comes at 8:15 sharp. I still feel horrible. I don't want to be alone but I don't want to go outside my room either. Just seeing Princey will make me cry and I don't want that. I have to keep myself busy for the next 15 minutes until Patton arrives. I reach for my earphones on my desk, plug them in my cell and- Shoot! My battery is dead... I stand to charge my phone when I hear a knock on my door.

"Who is it?" I ask.

"It's Patton. I'm bringing you breakfast."

"It's not locked." Patton enters my room with a plate full of pancakes, eggs, bacon, french toast... just like Roman made me the other day...

"Did... did you made this?" I ask.

"Uhm... no. Roman did."

"I- I don't want it..." I lied. I was starving. Patton puts the plate on my night table and sits on my bed.

"Look Virgil... I know you don't want to hear this right now but, Roman is really trying to make things right between you two. He talked to me yesterday, after I left your room and, he feels awful! He told me he made a mistake..."

"You're right. I don't want to hear this right now."

"I know. I know. But just hear me out. I can hear him cry at night in his room. He wants to make up for what he did to you."

"Patton. Please. Stop."

"Virgil, he just wants to talk-"

"I SAID STOP!" Patton looks at me. I can see his eyes tearing up. He stands up, walks towards the door and looks at me again before leaving without a single word...
