Dinner went really well. Roman did most of the talking which is fine with me. But now Roman thinks we're heading home to watch a movie, but I have a little surprise for him...
A few minutes later, we arrive at the building in which we live. We enter and walk up the stairs.
"I had a really fun night Virgil, thank you."
"Don't thank me yet!" I said as I start running up the stairs leaving Roman behind.
"Wait! What do you mean? This night is not over?! Virgil!"
Roman follows me up the stairs until we reach the last floor. I stop, out of breath, and wait for Roman to catch up.
"You could've given me a warning! Geez." he exclaims panting.
"Sorry, but I need to blindfold you now."
"What?!"
"Trust me! It has more effect that way."
He agrees and I put my hands on his eyes before guiding him to the door that leads outside.
"Okay, are you ready?" I ask.
"I don't know. Are you gonna push me over the edge?"
"Maybe..."
"Virgil!!" he screams.
"I'm kidding! I would never do that."
"Mhmhm... Can I open my eyes now?"
"Yeah."
Roman P.O.V.
I open my eyes slowly. The light is blinding me for a few seconds. As my eyes adjust to the luminous rays of sunshine, I realize what was before me. We were on the rooftop and the sunset was... magical! There was also a bench surrounded with candles and covered with a big, fluffy blanket. We could see the sunset and the whole town in which we live in fall into the night simultaneously.
"Wow Virgil... This, this is beautiful!" I exclaim.
"Isn't it?"
"How did you do that?"
"We all have our little secrets."
I laugh as we walked towards the bench and sit next to each other. We can still feel the slight warmth of the sun hitting on our faces. I lean my head on Virgil's shoulder. He then puts his arm around my shoulders and leans his head on mine.
"This is perfect." I say looking up at Virgil.
"Not as perfect as you." he replies. I can feel my cheeks becoming warmer. I sat up and looked into his eyes as he looked in mine.
"You know, I never once thought you would be the one who would make my life so complete." I say. "You're like my own black diamond."
"How so?"
"Well, you have all the qualities of a diamond. Strong, precious, beautiful unbreakable, except that you like black."
"Haha, alright then you will be my white pearl."
"Why a pearl?"
"Cause you are special, unique, rare and beautiful."
I smile before leaning for a precious kiss over the sunset that will forever be in my memory.

A/N: And there you go! This is how my story ends. I really hope you all enjoyed reading it as much as I loved writing it. This story is the first fanfiction I've ever written and I'm really proud of it. I also want to thank my friends for supporting my idea and helping me even if they have no idea who Thomas and the Sides are.
