ashton that you got into session?"

jasey asked me one day.

i wrapped my arms around her

and kissed her neck from behind.

"i loved drinking

and so that's what i did

day in and day out

night in and night out-

this went on since i was sixteen.

one night

i went home completely wasted

over something conflicting that i can't remember

and i shouted at my mother

then i raised my hand-"

i cleared my throat

"and i hit my mother multiple times.

she was crying so hard

i still remember.

the next morning i felt terrible.

i sent her to the hospital

and checked myself into rehab."

"did she forgive you when you came back?"

"i don't think she'll ever forgive me.

the only reason i ever chose that road

to numb myself

was because i was in so much pain

pain i never asked for

i just wanted to end everything but

before that i decided

to do everything in my power to delay it."
