fear.
fear is an astonishing thing
something that is usually frowned upon
yet, one thing many don't realise;
is the fact that fear can save someone.

looking over the grassy field,
i look down ignoring my shield.
sat on an enormous tree,
i feel extremely free.
the shield that once protected me,
is now gone with a kick in the knee.
simply letting go of the branch,
and falling into the farmer's ranch.
but i can't bring myself into letting go.
fear holds me into place.
