Kyrie
"Where are you guys planning on going?" I ask Christopher's cousins. Today the whole family was going shopping for everything we needed for the Fourth. A few of us went to go grab fireworks and food while the rest of us were at the mall picking up random things.
"Just to footlocker to get some new pickups or maybe a store, pick Chris up some new swag," Mijo said.
"How long will you guys be gone?"
"Chill our Kyrie, don't worry we got Chris, he safe with us."
"Are you sure? I just don't want anything bad to happen."
"Stop stressin' that's not good for my new lil nephew or niece, I promise he gon' be straight."
I sighed. "Alright, but if anything happens I'm coming for you and your off-brand Jordan's Mijo."
"Yeah, yeah, you and Lytrell go on ahead and buy your pads or some shit. C'mon Chris."
I watched as the group turned and left. They better not do anything to Chris.
Omniscient
Everyone laughed as Chris did a little happy dance in his new shoes.
"You like em'?" Mijo questioned watching him dance around the store.
"Yeaahh." Chris sat down on one of the try on benches and slipped the shoes off.
"We just waiting on Jordan to get his shit and then we'll go ight'?"
Christopher nodded and pulled out his phone, texting Kyrie.
