The Factions High School - Where HEARTBREAKS and High School ROMANCES Happen

Chapter 1

Tris' POV

I look at the school that towers over me and I walk in. I walk up to the desk and say, "Tris Prior?" The lady at the desk hands me a sheet of paper without looking up. "Thanks I guess?" And I wander off into the maze of corridors. As I walk up to my locker, a girl comes up to me and opens the one next to her. "OMG Your the most luckiest person in the world! Your locker is right next to the school's hottest boy and star soccer player, Four! I'm so jealous!" I just roll my eyes. I know that guy must be a player. Just then two kids slam right into me. Kissing. Ugh! Teenagers aye? I roll my eyes once more and head to find my class.

I sit at the very back of the class and sketch in my notebook. A boy with deep blue dreamy eyes, yet somewhat familiar, sits beside me. He smirks at me. "The name's Four, and you are?" I realise he's the heartbreaker of the school. "Not interested"

"Well, not interested, pleased to meet you" and with that he walks off, and starts making out with the girl he was making out with this morning.

"Just to let you know, he's not that bad once you get to know him." A squeaky voice says. I turn and raise my eyebrows at her. "My name's Christina and something tells me that we are going to be great friends! How about you sit with me at lunch, meet all my friends? And anyways, you already in all of my classes since this class moves around together!" She says. I look at her curiously. She has warm brown skin that reminds me of hot chocolate in the winter. I just shrug in response. She looks like she is about to say something when the teacher walks in. Thank God!

I just got my food and I turn to find a table when I see Christina waving at me to come over. I inwardly sigh and make my way towards them. "Tris, this is Uriah, Zeke, Marlene, Shauna, Lynn, Will, Al and you already know Four. Guys, this is Tris. Ok, tris, Marlene and Uriah are together, Shauna and Zeke, and Will and me." She babbles on. For clears his throat. " Oh! And Four and Molly. Who is sitting over there." I turn and look at the group of girls playing with each others hair and putting on fresh makeup while at the same time drooling over at Four. I just nod and continue to eat, when I realised my parents are gonna be away today and Caleb probably joined some nerd group.  I turn to look at my new friends. "Do you guys want to have a party at my place today?" They all look at each other and have a conversation through their minds. All at once they all shouted "duh! Of course we would!"
"Great! Just follow my car to my house then afterwards" Then I get up and leave the cafeteria.
