Baby Shower

Hermione's POV

Ginny and I are six months pregnant. We along with our husbands found out the sexes of our babies. But have told no one else, not even each other. We've decided to have a baby shower together. So here we are at Grimmauld place with our friends and family.

"Can we have your attention please" Harry calls from where we stand on the stage. Everyone turns to look at us and smile. There are many pregnant women here, most are married to their partners.

"When you arrived, you each got a little bag each. There are two cards in them. One for the Potters and one for the Snapes" Ginny explains.

"Cast your vote and place it in the appropriate voting box in the booth. At the end of the party one card will be taken from each box. If the person guessed right, they may choose that baby's middle name. There will be other games through out the day, for wizard and witch. There's also a play room and nap room for children. As well as a quiet room if you need some peace" I explain.

"Let the festivities begin" Severus declares. Severus helps me off the stage and we walk over to his friends. "Lucius, Narcissa glad you could make it" he says smiling. He hasn't stopped smiling since he found out what we were having.

"Sure we can't have a hint to the gender?" Lucius asks. Narcissa scolds him slapping his shoulder gently. "So when are you due?" he asks.

"Late February, the healer says the 27th" I tell him.

"Though if the little one is like us, it'll arrive early" Severus says stroking my stomach as the baby kicks. He smiles brighter kissing my temple.

"Is the baby kicking?" Narcissa asks and I nod my head. "May I?" she asks and I nod my head. She places a hand on my stomach and the baby kicks it. Just then Bill and Fleur walk over with little Victoire. Who was born on the anniversary of the battle at Hogwarts. Teddy loved holding and playing with her.

"Oh she's precious, may I?" I ask and Fleur smiles handing me Victoire.

"She's looks just like you" Narcissa tells Fleur looking at the baby girl in my arms. She then looks into my eyes before leaving quickly for some reason.

"What was that about?" Bill asks.

"No idea, you take it easy Hermione" Lucius says before going to search for his wife. I hand Victoire to Bill who leaves with Fleur. While Severus and I continued to mingle with the other guests. A few games were played, which most of the girl's won. But Harry won the guess the size game. With Ginny's belly and got a prize.

It's now time for us to announce the baby genders. Ginny and Harry are going first as their surname begins with 'P'. "Settle down everyone" Ginny tells the crowd.

"We have here, our box of votes and it's time to see if we have a winner. And to announce the gender of our baby" Harry explains. Ginny takes out a card from the box and reads it aloud.

"Hagrid thinks we're having a girl" she states. "Is he right Harry?" she asks him.

"Afraid not, we'll be welcoming Jams Sirius Potter in the next two and half months" Harry states. Everyone cheers as they leave the stage and congratulate them. Severus and I walk forward, him carrying our box. He then takes a card out.

"Narcissa believe we're having a girl, is she right?" he asks me.

"She's right, come on up here Narcissa" I call and she comes onto stage. "First name is Rosaleen, choose wisely" I whisper to her. Narcissa thought for a minute and nods her head.

"Would you like to tell everyone who we'll be welcoming in three months?" Severus asks her and she nods her head.

"Hermione and Severus will be welcoming, Rosaleen Madison Snape in three months" she announces and the crowd cheers.

"How did you know Narcissa?" Severus asks as we join the crowd.

"When Hermione held Victoire, there was an undeniable spark in her eyes. Lucius said I always had a spark when I saw baby boys when I was pregnant with Draco" she states. The baby shower ended an hour later and everyone returned to their homes. Severus gave me a foot massage while I drank some tea.
