"Will you go out with me?" Chan asked as he hung his head down. I saw him fiddle with the hem of his uniform shirt and shuffling his foot around. I sighed guiltily. "I'm speechless. Thank you but..."
" It's ok. I know" he said with sadness evident in his eyes.(😢) He sniffled slightly as he turned away. I felt like the worst person on earth.
"Good luck! There's a girl out there who truly deserves you!". I hoped that helped...

Third person:
After Chan saw that Y/N was out of sight, he rushed to his friend. "Jeongin, she definitely is not interested in me. So stop worrying and confess already" ( binches, u thought)
"But hyung, I can't. She might reject me~" he whined like a toddler. " Guess you'll never know then"
"B-but-"
"Look kiddo, I've already embarrassed the crap out of me just to give an answer. Are you telling me I went through all that just for you to disappoint me?"
"She doesn't like me. She probably likes Hyunjin hyung or something. Yeah they match..." Jeongin's eyes started to gloss with tears and he felt a lump on his throat. He felt so frustrated at that very moment. He thought, why can't I be as perfect as Hyunjin? How can I be good enough for Y/N?

Your POV
I was putting my textbooks into my locker when I saw Hyunjin in my peripheral vision waiting for me. "Ahem!"
"Oh hi Hyunjin. What can I help you with?"
"Um, well you are very smart so I was wondering if you can help me with my science homework since we're in the same class"
"Sure~ How about today in the library after school?" "Sounds great. Thanks!"
"Welcome~"

Jeongin's POV
"This is your chance, Jeongin. What are you waiting for?" Chan hyung was right. But I still can't bring myself to do such thing. I walked towards the library with my textbook in hand. As I entered I spotted the table Hyunjin hyung and y/n was sitting at and approached. My hands were clammy with sweat by now.

"Hey guys! Oh, history! That's interesting"
"Jeongin, we're studying please be quiet. You're being rude to Y/N and I "
"Jeongin, it's ok just sit down" She saved my ass as I was blushing from embarrassment. As I sat down, she looked up at me from her book and I kinda just blinked back at her. "Need help with anything?"
"U-uh... no..." then hyunjin hyung spoke up," If you don't need anything then why are you here?". I panicked so much that I guessed I started to tear up. " Aww Jeongin, I'm sure hyunjin didn't mean it. Tell me what's wrong" However I couldn't because hyung was glaring at me as if I'm a pesticide. She glanced at her book then hyunjin (💔) then his book then finally at me. "I'm sorry Hyunjin, just continue with the method I showed you. I'll be back, promise"
"*sigh* ok" And with that, she grabbed my hand and pulled me to a secluded book section.

She pulled up her sleeve and wiped my tears away. She is such an angel, I didn't deserve it so I cried more. "Hey, did I do something wrong? Ok I won't do that ever again, I promi-". I pulled her into a kiss. It was short but sweet. Her lips were so soft omg. Idk where that courage came from but after I realise what I just did, I felt guilty. "Sorry. I'm so so sorry but I... really really like you" and when I looked up, I saw that she started crying. "I'm sorry, I know you don't li-"
"Stupid! I like you too"
"Really?"
"Yes!"
"W-well would you like to be my girlfriend?"
"Of course"
