*gasp* where am I?

"Oh y/n! Your awake!"

"Why are you still here? Wait... did you stay here overnight?"

"Yes.."

"Ugh just please leave" you demanded as you let your head fall back onto the pillow. He did as you were told and walked out with red eyes. You heaved a sigh. Who knew how difficult it was to lose someone important.  You soon fell asleep again only to be woken up by the birding chirping outside. As you turned you head to the other side, you noticed that there was a note.

It said:

Dear y/n,
Hi. It's Hyunjin, your now ex... Wow, I never knew a day would come where I'm scared to tell you my name thinking I'll hurt you just by reminding you of who I am. Any ways, don't worry. You won't have to be reminded of me ever again. Because I'll leave, y/n. I'll be out of your life permanently because I know that's what you want. But do know that I never meant to hurt you. I want to to know the truth because you deserve the truth. You see, Hwayoung had told me about it and I apologise. I cannot deny that but I was drunk at that time. But that girl was my ex. I'm over her ever since I met you but she may not be. You see y/n, I never stopped loving you. I'm sorry you had to witness the kiss but I promise you, that kiss meant absolutely nothing. But I do hope the times we spent together meant something to you and you'd cherish it. For the past few days I've been trying to find any means of life and attempt to fill this hole within but I realised nothing can replace you. Anyways, you won't ever have to see me again. I'll disappear from the face of earth if that's what you want.

You gasped as you fit the puzzle pieces. Could he possibly be attempting suicide. And... because of me? No that's not what I want!

You raced out of the room to the place you think he'd be. The rooftop( idk if there's a rooftop on a hospital but I watched a movie where there was one so).

"Hyunjin!"

"Y/n? What are you doing here?"

"I was about to ask you the same"

"Ah well, I was just enjoying the cool breeze and clear my mind up a bit"

Oh. Oops, false alarm.

You walked up to the bar next to him and took a deep breath. You felt the wind against your face and for once felt ease in the past few days. Then he interrupted the silence.

"I love you, y/n"

You looked to the left and realised he was staring at you the whole time. Your heart beat started racing uncontrollably. You turned your body to face him and looked him in the eye. You saw sincerity.

"I know I hurt you but it wasn't intentional. I know you hate me but I also know you love me"

He wasn't wrong. He's never wrong actually.

"Hyunjin, right know my mind is all jumbled up. But your right. I'll still love you no matter what"

"If I could say sorry all day I would" he started sobbing quietly. He didn't know you'd still love him after what he had done.

"To be honest, I was more upset about the fact that you chose to keep it a secret than the fact that you kissed"

"I'm sorry, I just thought the kiss was meaningless and tried to forget about it"

"Well I forgive you"

"Are you serious? Oh my- I swear I'll make you the happiest!" He engulfed you into a tight hug as he closed his eyes smelling your perfume.

"Actually, after all this, I'm not ready for a relationship yet. I hope you understand"

"Of course, if that's what you want. Let's start all over again. Hi I'm Hyunjin, nice to meet you"

You shook his hand and introduced yourself chuckling. You knew the two of you would be more as time goes by.
