Your POV

We haven't spoken to each other for the past few weeks or so and that results in ya trying to avoid each other. It's especially hard to do so since we share the same household and are in the same class.

I actually want things to go back to normal now. I wanna talk to my homie again. I want to have our usual movie marathons together. But I hurt him.

Even things aren't normal between Hyunjin and I anymore. He'd try to take me out after school sometimes but I always refused which wasn't like me. I just feel... guilty.

As I got out of bed this morning, I felt super hungry so I decided to make pancakes. As I went out to the hallway, I was met with a sleepy Felix who's just got out of bed as well. We exchanged awkward stares before I whipped my head back and continued to the kitchen.
As I was preparing the batter, he suddenly spoke.
"Look, I'm really sorry for...everything"
His apology was followed by an awkward silence as I felt a lump in my throat.

"I guess I got... jealous. I'm still a really stupid teenager you know. If I act super strange around you then that's most probably my hormones acting up haha" he said as he scratched the back of his head awkwardly.

"Here" I said as I placed a plate of pancakes in front of him.
"Thanks!"
I also sat down with my plate and for the next few minutes we were just silently eating. That is until I broke the silence.

I reached over the table, grabbed his collar and kissed him roughly.

It took him a while to process what's happening before he closed his eyes and kissed back. We pulled back gasping for air.

"I-"
"I'm really sorry. But I guess that was my hormones acting up"
Then he smiled his brightest smile and said,
"I think I really love you"

——

"Hey so how are we gonna tell this to mum and dad?"

"Um about that-"

See this was one of the main problems. We're step siblings and we could potentially be doing something that'll bring the family apart.

"What if we keep it a secret?"
At that exact moment, the door opened.
"Mum? What happened"

"Your dad. He found someone else. Oh I knew this'll happen one day"
In her hands were three bottles of alcohol. She's been drinking again.

"Felix, my dear step son, this will probably mean you'll have to move out-"

"No! I don't care what my dad does! He can kiss my ass goodbye-"

"Felix, he's demanding for you"

"I- Just when everything's finally going great in life! Thanks dad..." he said the last two words under his breath.

Then I stepped in.
"Hey mum, can I talk to him for a second? I need to bid him good bye"

I took him upstairs to talk.
"Your willing to throw me away, too? Fine-"
"No, Felix, listen. This might be great. It'll mean we're no longer siblings. Plus, we're in the same class u dummy. You're acting like you'll never see me again lol"
"Ohhhhhhhh"

The next day at school

As I went to home room, I was greeted with a cheerful Hyunjin.
"Good Morning, y/n!"
"Hi, Hyunjin!" Then I told him about how Felix and I are a thing now.

"Oh that definitely explains the glances you give to him in class. And why you turn down my offers to the ice cream parlour. And that time when you wrote Felix+y/n=<3 on your notebook in maths class the other day.."

"Hyunjin! Lower your voice! And stop exposing me"

"Actually Hyunjin, please do so more often" Felix smirked as he went towards me.

"How's my baby doing?" He asked as he snuggled into the collar of my school blouse.
"Ewwww, get a room you two" Hyunjin remarked.
"Whatever, Hyunjin I know your gay for that guy in the class next door"
"I AM NOT!"

Also guys, Stray Kids are coming to Australia and I might be able to go. But it's so expensive help!
