So I couldn't wait no longer. I had to confront him.
I saw him walk towards homeroom but I quickly took my chance to drag him to a secluded area outside the building.
"Hey! Let go!" He rubbed his wrist and if they've been chafed.
"So let's get to the bottom of this. Do you like y/n?" I blurted.
His eyes widened and he started to choke on his saliva as he was flustered.
"Ok that just answered my question..." "No, wait! What do you mean?" "I meant what I said. Do you like y/n?" I repeated.
"Well she's my best friend after all.." he replied as he scratched the back of his head.
"As in a crush. Do you want to possibly date her?" How much more oblivious can this guy get?
"Hmm...I've never thought about that? I don't really know what it's like to like someone"

"Well, when you like someone, your eyes always wander to them even when you're not close physically. You feel your heat beat faster, and face hot. Your heart clenches when they're with someone else. You want to embrace them 24/7 and never let go. Their smile makes your day a thousand times better" I rambled endlessly, with only y/n on my mind.

"Mate, what are you going on about?" "Do you experience them? When your around her. Do you feel it?" "I..i-"
That's when I got frustrated by his inconsiderate slowness and grabbed his harshly by the collar.
"I don't think you do.." "bruh let go! Chill" "Don't tell me to chill!" "Just, no. I don't think I like her that way. I means she great and all but-" then I let go of him and said, "Ok thanks bye!"

"Y/n , you're home!" "Hello Felix! You seem happy.."

"Yeh well that's because I'm about to make you mine" I say triumphantly as I was confident about my choice of words. Wasn't I smooth as hell?

"God, Felix! We've been through this many times. We're not going to be a thing. Never!" This broke my heart a little but I was still holding onto that little piece of hope. "I mean, why not? If someone finds out we'll just say that we're not actually related. If mum and dad finds out then..." "Then what?" "Then we'll say that we love each other before they even got together. Come on, love conquers all" "I never said I love you in that way" "But I know you do" "Felix, you're tired. I'm tired after a long day. Just go sleep you're spouting nonsense" "I'm not!!"

I know that she'll crack if I keep on pushing it but I can't help it.

"Look I don't want to fight again. Just-"

"Hey I know you like Hyunjin but you don't actually love him" I could tell she was taken aback.
"Don't drag him into this" She said rather shakily.
"Choose between us two. Actually he doesn't even like you that way.."
"What? You-"
"He doesn't love you like I do"
"Stop! Stop it Felix.."
"He only sees you as a friend, y/n. Not like I-"
"I SAID STOP!"
She had cracked under pressure. Oh no I fucked up again. I suddenly tasted something salty. Tears. I wanted to hug her tight and say I am sorry but I know she would just push me away. She crouched crouched down on the floor covering her ears, sobbing.

I slowly walked towards her but she held out her hand signalling me to stop. My knees were so weak I just collapsed to the floor and cried alongside her.

We were two lovebirds drowning in our own tears..
