A casual outfit on my body was reflected on the mirror, as I fixed my hair into a ponytail. A sigh escaped my lips, today was going to be great, but I wasn't feeling it. A sudden knock on the door interrupted me, I turned around as I heard the door slightly opening, making a creepy sound.

''Are you set and done Persis?'' My dad asked, his body standing still. I turned around, smiling at him.

''Let's go.'' I grabbed my book pack and we headed to the car. I opened the door and got in, and then my dad was inside too. He started the car and we drove down the driveway. The car ride was silent, as usual. The only sound we could hear was the one coming from the cars, beeping and the one coming from the radio, as a song from OneRepublic made its way to my ears.

''You look tired.'' He spoke, breaking the lack of words traveling between us.

''I feel tired,'' I blurred out a small chuckle. ''I don't know, I'm not in the mood for the same routine.'' He didn't say a thing. Like always. My dad was a man of no words. And if he did say something, it was something important. He never lurked into my life, but he always cared. I was his little girl and his love for me was something deep and meaningful. After a not-so-long drive, I got to the campus. I kissed goodbye my dad and got out of the car, only to find Jungkook talking with someone at the entrance. She was blonde and pretty, made me feel kind of jealous. Why did he always talk to blondes? He was laughing, as I slowly paced toward him. His eyes met mine and he waved at me, offering me a smile.

''Hey there!'' He hugged me really tight, the girl accompanying him, glancing at us with a crooked smile dancing on her lips. ''See you tomorrow then.''

''Sure.'' The girl said, waving goodbye at him. She walked away from us, but he was still hugging me tight.

''You have to skip class today.'' I looked at him surprised.

''Are you serious?'' He nodded, pressing his lips together. ''Where are we going?'' I asked, curious.

''Just tell your dad I'll get you home safe.'' I nodded, taking my phone out of my pocket. He grabbed my other hand, tight and we walked over to his car. The sound of his keys caught my attention, as I tried to type a coherent message to my dad with one hand only.

I noticed from inside the car the trees, standing brave and still as we made our way through the lonely road. The song coming from the radio was the one from a Spanish speaking band I didn't know anything about, until that day. His hands were tapping along to the song on the steering wheel, yet he didn't lose his focus on the road.

''I can't believe you,'' I pointed at him. ''Are skipping class!'' He giggled. ''Where are we going?'' I asked, my head supported on the window.

''We're going to three places, this is the first one.''

''I am so confused right now.'' I let out a nervous chuckle, biting my lip. I started to think about his favorite places and the images that I've seen so far, didn't make any reference to any of them.

''Here we are,'' He suddenly swerved the car, at one side of the road. He unbuckled his seat belt, and so did I. We got out of the car and I was more confused than ever. ''Let's go.'' He asked for my hand and with no hesitation I gave it. We made our way into the woods and it made me think about the possible situations that could happen. My thirteen year old fan girl made its way to my thoughts, making me contemplate any Twilight situation. A nervous laugh escaped my lips, making his attention toward me. His eyebrows furrowed and I shook my head, trying to say there was nothing to worry about.

''Are you a vampire, Jungkook?'' I joked, he laughed. His laugh made me smile, it was definitely one of the most beautiful sounds I've ever heard.

''I'm about to suck your blood,'' He followed the joke. I laughed and then he let go of my hand. ''Now speaking seriously,'' He cleared his throat. His body was standing in front of me, but his facial expression was none. His lips were in a straight line. ''I wanted to escape the routine for awhile, I came here during Spring Break,'' I remembered he was in the woods. I kept listening. ''I used to come here and think about you.'' My heart became smaller. In a good way.
