Chapter 15: My past {part 2}

Amongst the busy crowd a boy sneaked his way forward only to be stopped by an officer

"A kid like you shouldn't be here! Your in high school right? You should go to school! We already handle eve-"

"She's my family too!! We may not be related but she's like my family! I have the right to see her!!" He said in protest

They both stared to argue like cats and dogs only to be stopped by Alice "Luce..." she weakly raised her small arm as the other was broken with tears finally falling down since she was saved by the cops

The officer stopped for a moment but that was enough for Luce sneak in and quickly dashes towards her "Alice! I'm sor-" a small body quickly hits his huge body making him stop his words with even the paramedic I silence

"I was-I was so S-scared! Luce I was so scared!" She continued to cry as she slowly started to fall due to one of her knees being dislocated

Luce quickly reacted to her fall and caught her into his warm embrace

Oh how much she loved his embrace it gave her a secure and safe feeling...

"Shh... is fine now my little Alice I'm here... and I wont ever leave you again..." he promised her as he brought her towards the paramedic still in surprise

They were now in the hospital with Alice on the bed still weak but now safe... for now

The door gently opens revealing Luce as he brought with him some foods, drinks and clothing for her and him "hey Alice I'm back! I ran as fast as I could!"

He told her as he lay those he brought with him onto the table and ground as he walked towards her with sweat on his forehead indicating he did indeed ran

A weak yet pure and happy smile was plastered onto Alice's petite face as she used her handkerchief and gently wiped his sweat on his forehead away

"It's fine... I know you'll come back for me... you promised me after" she still smiled at him as he sat down on a chair beside her bed holding her unwounded arm gently like she was made out of glass "thank you... and sorry that I wasn't there... if the cops weren't c-called... th-then... th-then you would h-h-have...." tears started to fall from his handsome face but were gently wiped away by a soft small hand "it's fine you here now aren't you? And that's all that should matter" Alice said still smiling

"Your the best thing that could have ever happen to me... please remember hat Luce" tears now falling from her face "and you too were the best thing that could have ever happen to me too Alice... my Alice" he smiled at her as they both cried although not in each other's warm embrace holding onto ones hand was still enough to bring warmth into their heart as well as for Alice's shattering heart

Days had past that had turned into weeks and those weeks turned into months, Alice has been living with Luce in his home in a condominium in a well guarded area
