Chapter Nine- Fallen

Warning! Self Harm , Death , and Slight hint of Depression.

Alex's POV

I looked up and saw Lafayette, in shock, "Hamilton what did we tell you about him he could kill us!" Lafayette yelled, "He better be tied up again..." Mulligan said, "He isn't a zombie" I replied softly. Mulligan looked to confused, "What do you mean?" He asked. John looked back to everyone normal. Perfectly alive. The surprise on Laf and Mulligan's was a mixture of shock and disbelief, "Laurens je suis désolé I kicked you out." Lafayette said sincerly. That's when a zombie came out of the bushes and jumped on Mulligan. We all screamed and tried to pull the zombie off carefully but, The zombie started eating him alive. Maria ran outside and shot the zombie but it was too late Mulligan was gone. John gasped and started crying. Maria rubbed his back whispering things in his ear. I walked over to John I was crying to but trying to hide it, "P-Peaches it will be okay..." I said. He nuzzled his face in my chest bawling. He went through so much he must feel so depressed.... I Don't want to see him go through that again. I comforted him hugging him as I rubbed his back Maria placed a hand on his shoulder comforting him. I looked over to see Lafayette on his knees crying his eyes out. We were all sensitive to death and now one of our dearest friends had died. We started out with one thousand. Now we are down to four.... including Maria.

-Time Skip-

John has been still sad. I need to cheer him up somehow. I walked into our room and saw him with a knife about to cut himself, "Jacki!" I yelled he looked to me in fear, "please Don't cut yourself! It reminds me of... when Jefferson..." I cut myself off seeing his sadness, "I-I'm sorry Lexi please don't be mad at me..." he said to me dropping the knife. I hugged him, "I would never be mad at you. It's rough I know... remember to stay happy." I heard him mumble something along the lines of, "Do it for him." But I decided not to say anything about it. Life went on everyday for a month people were sad but soon we came to terms with it. Maria has been helping John cope saying things like, "I know I know... I know how you feel. But remember, Do it for him." She would smile and he would nod. He became less depressed and was getting happy again which is all I ever wanted.

Maria's POV

Seeing this happen to John reminds me too much of Peggy. That guy got eaten alive just like her and now John and everyone was so devastated and all I Wanted to do was help them get through it which I have been. I've been helping John more then anyone else though, he's my little brother so of course I would help him more. Though, I have been helping the French one named, Lafayette and Hamilton John's boyfriend. They all are sad of the loss of a friend but I know exactly how they feel too much to be exact. It's now November and people are started to get happier. John and Hamilton are happy together and that's all I wanted for him. But, some days I wish I was happy together with my girlfriend again. Though, I would never see her again because just as Mulligan as i've learned his name Is gone and won't be back with a green potion.
