to understand your powdered nose
in the face of my paraphernalia.
where gun metal grey
meets the cold light of day
of my glower over new
cherry blossom flowers

whether your metallic mouth
chewed it over at all.

sweet as sunrise i might be
bathtub sunken with soap
suds at my sorrowful brow
