A few hours later, at 1800 hours, the military helicopter was making its way through wind and rain to an island not far from the coast of Hong Kong, China. This island, however, wasn't any regular island. It was the Jaeger base and station.
All around the helipads above the main section of the base, there were vehicles, personnel, soldiers, and technicians working around the clock through the wind and ran, making sure everyone was at 100% or more.
As the helicopter landed on its helipad, there was someone under a black umbrella waiting for the copter to land. Once it does so, both Pentecost and Braedey exit the chopper, the former going under the umbrella, while the latter was handed one. He then noticed who was next to Pentecost under the umbrella.
It was a female, around her early or late 20's, while having brown hair with blue highlights, while she has brown eyes, and stood 5ft 5" tall. She was wearing a black shirt and pants with a black cloak overtop, and black boots.
"Mr. Martin, this is Mako Mori." Pentecost introduced to Braedey. "One of our brightest. Also in charge of the Mark 3 Restoration Program. She personally handpicked your copilot candidates."
Mako looked to Braedey, then to Pentecost. "I imagined him differently." She said to him in Japanese.
"Hey." Braedey spoke up. "Better or worse?" He asked her in Japanese.
Mako showed a small smile. "I apologise, Mr. Martin. I have heard a lot about you."
Braedey bowed his head to Mako, and Mako bowed her head back to him.
"At ease." Pentecost said to the soldiers, as they entered the elevator to the base. "We will tour the facility first, and then Miss Mori will show you to your Jaeger, Mr. Becket."
"Wait for us, please! Hold the door please!" Braedey saw three people walking up into the elevator, just before the doors closed.
"Thank you. Thank you. Thank you." One male said.
"Stay back. Kaiju specimens are extremely rare, so look but don't touch, please." The first male, who looked to be in his early 30's, has glasses on his face, along with Kaiju tattoos on his arms, told them.
The second male seemed to rely on his walking stick, and looked to be in his late 30's.
The third male is 7ft tall, but not in a threatening way. He looked to be in his late 20's. His eyes are a gentle shade of red, his hair being as white as snow with pink highlights in it, and being in a ponytail. His skin is slender white as snow as well, and has an average shaped face. His body was tall and muscular, giving him a calming yet strong appearance, making him look friendly despite his tall form. His attire seemed to be that of a very slick and nicely tailored business suit. It was a jet black colour scheme with a red tie around his neck, along with a pair of super cool reading glasses on his face.
"Mr. Martin, this is our research team." Pentecost introduced Braedey to the three males. "Dr. Gottlieb, Dr. Geiszler, and Mr. Kento."
(Author's Note: Kento belongs to 24Magical)
"Oh, no, call me Newt." Dr. Geiszler said with a shrug. "Only my mother calls me Doctor." He smirked, then looked to the male with the walking stick. "Hermann, these are human beings. Why don't you say hello?" He joked.
"I have asked you not to refer to me by my first name around others." Dr. Gottlieb snarled to Newt. "I am a doctor with over 10 years of decorated experience..."
