"The Kaiju are learning our defences. They're adapting. Evolving. And we're losing Jaegers faster than we can build them."

Five years after Gipsy Danger's decommission, Marshal, along with Tendo, and a Jaeger Pilot were in the base, and they were talking to about nine members of the United Nations, and they were talking about the Jaeger Program.

"Lima. Seattle. Vladivostok. Category 4 Kaijus are now coming through the Breach." The USA UN member spoke. "I think even you can see, Marshal, this is no longer a sound strategy. The frequency of the attacks has increased. The Jaegers are not the most viable line of defence anymore."

"I am aware." Pentecost replied. "Those are my Rangers that die every time a Jaeger falls, which is why I'm asking you for one last chance.

"Excuse me, Marshal." The British UN member spoke next.

"One final assault with everything we've got." Pentecost continued.

"The Jaeger program is dead, Marshal." The British UN spoke out, and Pentecost sighed silently in annoyance. "On the other hand, the coastal wall program is a promising option."

"The world appreciates all that you and your men have done, but it's over." The USA UN spokesman said. "We will authorise you to take all remaining Jaegers to the last battle station: Hong Kong. We're prepared to fund you for the next eight months, while the coastal wall is completed. After that, you will receive no further support."

"You have your answer, Marshal." The Canadian UN member stated finally, as the rest of the UN members turned off their screens.

"So, that's it? It's over?" Tendo asked, as Pentecost turned to face him and the Pilot.

The Pilot has red hair, blue eyes, while standing 6ft 1". He was wearing a blue suit that was similar to Pentecost, with some medals, indicating that he has been a Royal Air Force Pilot. This Pilot is Ranger Hercules Hansen.

"Suits and ties, flashy smiles." Hercules sighed. "That's all they are, Stacker."

Pentecost then took a small pill from a small pill container he has. He sighed, and looked to Hercules. "We don't need them."
