The Admission

I am now at the hospital's admission office. I am signing necessary papers for my baby's admission. Her operation is set tomorrow. And according to doctor Uchiha, Lhexine is needed to be admitted at the hospital because she needs 8 hours fasting before her operation tomorrow.

I went here as early as possible because according to some SS patients you need to process everything for two hours before admission.
If you are a private patient then everything will go smoothly. But if you are a charity case there are many things to do.

Luckily for me, when I ask the admission office for my daughter's planned admission they said everything is set. I just needed to sign tons of papers.

When I was done with the papers the officer ushered me to the billing department to sign something. I still don't know why I didn't have to pay a single cent. I didn't know what to feel. I was confused but thankful at my end. It's really a great help and I am not in the position to question it. But I will go to the SS office later to thank them. Everything is set. We are now going to our room.

All the staffs on this hospital are nice people. They treat you nice as they treat the private patients. My baby's room is in ward. But the ward is so spacious,clean, and composed only of 4 patients and 4 extra beds for the patients' guardians. We do have dividers for privacy. We have bathroom. We have cabinets, tables and sink. We also have pantry composed of water dispenser, sterelizer and microwave oven.

This hospital really lives up to expectations. My baby's bed has railings which can be put off. The nurse briefed us that the railings need to be up at all times for baby's safety. And she also said we can call them thru the air phone anytime if we need something. She also said they will put IV on my baby 12 midnight. Tomorrow 8am is her operation and she needs to fast for 8 hours.

When the nurse left, I texted doctor Uchiha.

Doc, my baby is now admitted and we are now in our room. Thanks for everything.

I ended the call and called for my friend Daniel. I asked him to come here when the shop is closed so that I have someone to see my baby whenever I need to go out for food or other necessities. He said he's just gonna have to pack our other things. I packed enough clothes for Lhexine and me but Daniel is more like my mother. I guess there are still things that I forgot tho.

I made my baby her milk. I kissed her and gave her milk. It will be only minutes and she'll fall asleep. It's been a long day for us. It's still 5pm so I decided to sleep with her while waiting because I'm pretty sure it will be a long night for me.

My baby is used sleeping beside me and her sleep is longer that way. So I put off the railing and went beside her. Then I put the railing again. So i look like a mama sleeping with my baby on her crib. But a longer and wider crib at that.

I was about to close my eyes when our curtain moved and someone stepped in. Yes our dividers are thick curtains. I was alerted and went on sitting position.  And I can say that luck is really on my side. My forehead was bumped on the railings.

"Ouch." I said touching my forehead.

"You are supposed to sleep on the extra bed miss Haruno." The familiar voice said.

I knew it. I know that voice.Shit. This is really embarrassing.

"Uhmmm. Hello doctor Uchiha. Are you here to check Lhexine? She just slept but I can wake her up." I said not looking into his eyes.

"It's okay. I'll just come back later. Text me if she's already awake. Bye." He said and began walking out. Then he stopped.

"Why are you torturing yourself there? That bed is for children." He asked.

"Uhhhmm. It's just that my baby is used to sleep beside me doc. It makes her sleep longer when she can feel that I'm close." I explained looking at the ground.

"I see." He said then walked out.

I sighed. Well, way to go Sakura, that sure is very embarrassing. I looked at my baby and she just finished her milk. I removed it from her mouth then kissed her again.

Ok, now how the fuck can I sleep.
