almost broken. (chapter 3)

*skylars Pov.*

I zoned out and started thinking. should I hug her? should I ask her out? I dany believe Hayes hurt her, for the second time too! seriously. I am so much better for her than he is. yes I hurt her too, but I didn't hurt her twice. my thoughts were interrupted by a Big Bang on the ceiling. (but the floor for her.) I ran upstairs looking through all the rooms for Makayla. "MAKAYLA?" I yelled through the house. I opened the bathroom door to see blood all over her arm and she's passed out.

"oh my god." I muttered under my breath. so I called 911 and Makayla's mom. after I did that I went to talk to Hayes. i knocked on his door, no one answered. I knocked again getting impatient. i was about to knock again but he opened the door. "what are you doing here?" he asked. "I'm here to tell you that Makayla is in the hospital cause you hurt her again thanks." I said and turned to walk away. "SHES IN THE HOSPITAL?!" he shouts which causes his older brother Nash to come running down the stairs. "Who's in the hospital? " he whisper-shouts as he closes the door. "Makayla." I say. "WHAT?! HOW? WHY?" he yells.

*hayes pov.*

wow I feel pathetic. I've been crying for 4 hours now. but Makayla means a lot to me and I hurt her. I wonder what's she's doing right now. I thought. then there's a knock at the door. and another. I open the door and Skylar is standing there. why? "what are you doing here?" I ask, trying not to sound rude. "I'm just here to tell you that Makayla is in the hospital cause you hurt her again thanks." he says and turned to walk away. "SHES IN THE HOSPITAL?!" I shout which causes nosey Nash to come running down the stairs. "who is in the hospital?" he whisper-shouts as he closes the door. "Makayla." Skylar says. "WHAT? HOW? WHY?!" Nash yells. Nash and Makayla are tight. like really really good friends. I know the age difference is weird, but she told me Nash is like her older brother. I can't imagine what he's feeling. "I SAID HOW THE FUCK DID SHE GET IN THE HOSPITAL!" he yells. "Hayes broke her heart, I zoned out and didn't notice that she went to the bathroom. she took some pills and cut until she passed out." Skylar said.

*Nashes Pov.* yass.

wait.. is Makayla really in the hospital? "I SAID HOW THE FUCK DID SHE GET IN THE HOSPITAL!" I shouted getting frustrated. "Hayes broke her heart, and I zoned out and didn't notice that she went into the bathroom. she took some pills and cut until she passed out." Skylar said calmly trying not to cry. "WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK HAYES! WHAT DID YOU DO?!" I shouted at Hayes. what the fuck did he do to her that make her want to kill herself? I thought. "well, I guess she had these feelings for me for a while and I got feelings for her when Brianna cheated on me and.. and.." he said studdering. "AND WHAT HAYES!" I shouted. "Bri wanted to get back together with me today and I wanted to tell Makayla how I feel today. but Bri said that if I talk to Makayla or spend anytime with her she will make her cut and make her more suicidal than she already is!" hayes said in between sobs. "well you could have told her how you feel and then just not let Brianna hurt her Hayes what the fuck were you thinking?!" I say. I sat on my house stairs and put my head in my hands. "we have to go see her, what if she.. dies." I said, which was hard with the lump in my throat. "don't think like that." Skylar said harshly. "sorry." I replied. "MOM!" I shouted through the empty house. "yes sweetheart?" she yelled back. "can I take the car? its an emergency. great thanks." I said and slammed the door before she could answer my question. "okay let's go guys." I said.
