Almost broken. (Chapter 8)

*Hayes's pov.*

I got excited when Mak called. I mean, I like her a lot. I tried to ask her out yesterday. It was to forward. Or she just didn't like me. I pushed all my thoughts aside and decided to get ready. I put on my black basketball shorts, a Cameron Dallas shirt, and my Magcon hoodie. To top my outfit off I put on my favourite SnapBack that Makayla got me, which said "H." On it. It was one of my birthday presents. my birthday was on June 8th and hers was the 9th, So she got me a SnapBack that has an H on it and the next day I got her a SnapBack with an M on it. Yeah we're cute best friends. Sometimes we act like were dating. It's like were friends with benefits. Just with kissing and cuddling, not sex. (😂) after I finished spraying axe on myself, I walked into my moms room and asked if I can borrow some money. "Yeah sure honey. You can just take my credit card. But 500$ is the spending limit." She said. "Okay thanks mom." I said walking out. "Eh eh eh, come back in here baby grier. Where are you going?" She asked, ugh she's nosy. "To the mall with Makayla, her friend, and her friends boyfriend." I said back. "Okay. Be back before 8." "Alright." And with that, I was out the door.

*makaylas pov.*

I just keep on the outfit I'm wearing. My black basketball shorts and a shirt that says 2k14 on the front with some palm trees around it. I'm wearing a bandeau with it because it's revealing under the armpits yenno? I decide to put the SnapBack on that Hayes bought me for my birthday. Then I straighten my hair, curled my eye lashes, and put on a bit of mascara. I wanted to look at least a little presentable just in case Hayes wanted to ask me out again. I no I totally freaked out yesterday, but I mean. I think I'm ready now. I do like him a lot. I just hope he didn't change his mind about me. I pushed all my thoughts aside and grabbed my phone, and some money, and went to Taylor's temporary room. Me and Taylor were talking tell we heard Hayes "IM HOME!" I laughed. Hayes always does that. I mean we have been best friends since 3rd grade. And were in 10th grade now. We walk downstairs and I introduced Taylor and Hayes. "Taylor this is Hayes, and Hayes this is my best friend/sister Taylor." "Oh so this is your 'friend' that you have been talking about." She says making air quotations around the word friends. I blush and give her the look. Hayes laughs. We decide to watch tv and wait for Cam. We were watching tv and I thought about something. "Hayes I thought you were sleeping over? Where's your stuff?" I asked. "I am! I just thought we could get it later? Or I have like half my clothes here." He said. "Oh yeah but like what about your charger and toothbrush and stuff?" I asked, wow I'm annoying. "Well I have a toothbrush in your bathroom. And we have the Same phone, so why can't I use your charger?" He asked. "Yeah you can." I said then there was a knock at the door. "Taylor that's probably Cam, you should go get it." I said, I think Cam was his name.. If not oops. She got up and answered the door. She brought a boy with typical guy hair that was brown, and matching brown eyes. They stood beside each other. "Omfg I shit this relationship so hard." I said smiling. "Well, we ship yours too." Cam pointing at Hayes and I so were sitting next to each other on the couch. I blushed and smiled. "Were just friends." I say, wishing I could say we were more. "Well for now anyway." Hayes said smirking. Oh this boy.. I blushed. "Hayes I just noticed that were both wearing basketball shorts and snapbacks." I say looking at him, then grabbing his SnapBack and putting on my head. I set mine on the couch, which he grabbed and put on. "Come on I have hat hair!" He said before he put it on. "You always have hat hair." I say giggling. He smiled at me. Omfg his smile.. I thought in my head. Today might be fun.

*Taylor M's pov.*

By the end of today Makayla and Hayes are gonna be dating. I will make it happen. I'm going to make it happen. "Okay guys let's go. I'm eager to shop." I say grabbing my keys off the table. "WAIT!" Makayla shouts. "What?" I ask. "I have to make a youtube video. I haven't made one for 2 weeks." She says looking at her phone. "Well let's just go to the mall tomorrow then." I say putting my keys back down on the table. "Okay I was thinking we could do a would you rather." She says walking up the stairs. We follow her to her room, and watch her set up her camera. I sat on her bed with my back against the wall. Cam comes and sits beside me. "Hey babe." He says. Ugh this boy. I blushed and said "hey." He looks at me. "Taylor?" He asks. Uh oh.. "Yeah?" I reply with a nervous tone. "You are the more beautiful girl I have ever seen." He says sitting up and looking me straight in the eye. He's so sweet. "Cam. Your the best boyfriend I could ever ask for. I love you." I say to him. "I love you too Taylor." He says. I put my lips to his. Once we broke apart I looked around the room. Both Makayla and Hayes were gone, but the camera was all set up. I looked at the Camera, the red light was on which means it's recording. I got up, stopped the camera and watched. It got what me and Cam said, plus our little make-out session. I turned the camera off. "Cam let's go find Hayes and Makayla." I said and started tip-toeing out of the room Cam following behind. "Shhhh." I said to Cam when I heard talking from the kitchen. "Makayla?" Hayes asked. "Yes Hayes?" She said back. "Well, for a long time I have liked you. The only reason I went out with Bri was because I was forced. I'm pretty sure I have told you this before but I just wanted to remind you I had 2% feelings for Bri and 98% feelings for you.i know we were/are best friends I would like to be more. So Makayla Hastings, will you be my girlfriend?" OMFG that was so adorable.. I thought. The floor creaked, so me and Cam ran up the the stairs.

*makaylas Pov.*

"Makayla?" Hayes asked. "Yes Hayes?" I said back. "Well, for a long time I have liked you. The only reason I went out with Bri was because I was forced. I'm pretty sure I have told you this before but I just wanted to remind you I had 2% feelings for Bri and 98% feelings for you. I know we were/are best friends but I would like to be more. So Makayla Hastings, will you be my girlfriend?" Hayes asked looking in my eyes the whole time. "Hayes that was so cute. But I'm sorry.." I said and he's smile instantly turned into a frown. "I would love to be your girlfriend." I finished. He broke out into a goofy smile and stood up. He walked towards me. "Good, because of you would have said no, I wouldn't be able to do this." He said raising my chin, and kissing me. I blushed through the kiss. We kissed for a really long time. Which isn't called a kiss. It's called a make out session. After we pulled apart, I looked at him. "Hayes. You are too cute." I said and gave him a peck on the lips. I when to the fridge and grabbed a water bottle. I closed the fridge, turned around, and Hayes pushed me up against the fridge. "Can we repeat what we just did?" He asked. "I would love to, but I have a youtube video to make." I said and run up the stairs. Today was the best day.

Okay so, in the story, Makayla, Hayes, Skylar and Cam are all 16, but Taylor M is still 15 bc her birthday is later on in the year. But they are in 10th grade. Just wanted to clear that up. Love you guys. 💕
