Almost broken. (Chapter 7)

*hayes pov.*

I just asked her out, I hope she says yes. I really want her to be mine. I can't.. No I don't want anyone else to have her. She will be mine. "Uh." She says.. Uh? Oh no. I thought. "Hayes I had fun. You are a great guy. I just don't think I can handle it right now. For all I know Brianna can swoop in anytime she wants and take you away from me. I have been hurt so many times. I don't want that to happen again." She says and runs to her house wiping the tears. "No Makayla wait!" I yell chasing after her. But I didn't make it in time. She shut the door in my face. What's it gonna take for her to realize I won't hurt her!

*makaylas pov.*

I run to the bathroom. I do cuts, not cuts deep enough to put me in the hospital but, I did a lot of them. After I finished I cleaned up and walked out. I grabbed my phone, checked all my text messages. But one caught my eye. "Hey Mak I'm living on your street. We can be together again. I miss you so much. Come sleepover tonight?" I screamed. Which causes my mom to coming running up the stairs. "what's wrong?" She asks out of breath. "TAYLOR LIVES HERE MOM! ON THIS STREET! WE CAN FINALLY HANG OUT AGAIN. UGH I MISS HER SO MUCH." I yell. "Okay, I will call her mom and ask her if she would like to sleepover here, just stop yelling." My mom says calmly. "Okay thanks mom!" I say while hugging her. "Your welcome sweety." She says and walks out of my room. Yay Taylor's coming over! (Not Taylor Caniff. Makaylas bestfriend Taylor Misticokat.) I have to introduce her to Hayes! Shit.. We had a little disagreement. I guess I will call him and say i was over reacting.

(in phone call.)

Makayla: Hey Hayes, I kinda wanted to ask if you could come over for a bit? I over reacted and I'm sorry. I don't want to lose our friendship.

Hayes: it's okay Mak, I was to forward. And it was to much to soon. So, we can have a movie date?

Me and hayes have movie dates. We call them movie dates but we just lay down in my bed or his, no cuddling! Just laughing, or crying. Watching comedy's and rom-com.

Makayla: yes we can! We haven't had one in a long time. Do you just wanna sleep over?

Hayes: yeah sure. I will ask my mom. Okay? I'll text you and tell you what she says.

Makayla: okay. Bye.

Hayes: bye!

I hang up my phone and go see my mom in the kitchen. "Hey mom is it alright if Hayes sleeps over too?" I ask while putting my hair into a high pony tail. "Yeah sure! I miss him. Even though he came here yesterday. But still. I do." She says. I chuckle. "Oh yeah and Taylor will be sleeping over here this whole week in the guest room. Hayes can sleep in your room." She says. (Don't worry guys She has a bunk bed. 😉) "pfft mom, Hayes practically calls my room his room. He already claimed the top bunk!" I say laughing a little. Uhh Hayes. He's an interesting boy.. I thought. My thoughts were interrupted by my door slamming. I turn around to see Taylor holding her suit case. She drops it and we both go running at each other and hug for like ever! "Oh my gosh I missed you so much!" I scream in her ear. "I missed you too! But we seen each other at school." She says laughing a little. "Yeah but school was like a month ago!" I say walking to fridge to grab a water bottle. "Right. Well i'm gonna go unpack my stuff, and then we can go to the mall or something?" She asks. "Yeah, one of my friends is coming too, I want you to meet him." I say smiling. "Yeah sure! Then you can meet Cam!" She says walking up the stairs. Cam? Who's Cam? Now I'm excited! I get to meet someone and so does she! Cooool.

*taylor m's pov.*

I missed Mak so much. I'm excited to go to Mall. She can meet Cam, and I can meet her 'friend'. I hope her 'friend' will be nice or I will have to whoop his ass. "Makayla! Get your ass up here!" I yell from the guest bedroom. (Sorry me and Taylor actually swear a lot at each other in real life. 😂) "IM COMING!" She shouts from downstairs. "Yes?" She asked when she reaches the guest bedroom. "Do you want me to call Cam and tell him to come here right now? Because I'm done unpacking." I ask. "Yeah sure, if he needs the address just say across from the Griers. He will know where it is." She says to me looking out the window. She spots someone and blushes a little. "Is that your 'friend'?" I ask making air quotations around the word friend. "No, well yes. But he's my best friend. Not my 'friend'." She says making air quotations around the word friend once again. "Riiight, well I'm gonna call Cam." I say slightly blushing. Gosh I miss my boyfriend. ( yass Taylor. 😏) "yeah I'm gonna go call my friend anyway." She says walking out of my temporary room.

*in phone call with cam.*

Taylor M: hey cam!

Cam: hey babe, Where are you?

Taylor M: at Maks house. I'm staying here for a week while my parents move our stuff into the new house.

Cam: oh okay. Is there a reason you called? You alright?

Taylor M: yeah yeah, I'm fine. I was just wondering if you wanted to come meet her at the mall? She's bringing one of her friends I think you know him.

Cam: yeah sure, you got an address?

Taylor M: yup! It's a abandon barn 5 minutes outta town.

Cam: uh, never mind I can't come.

Taylor M: babe I was just joking! She lives across the street from the Griers, she said you should know where that is.

Cam: yeah I do! Be there in like 15 okay?

Taylor M: okay.

Cam: bye babe see you soon. Love you.

Taylor M: love you too!

And with that, we hung up the phone. I think I'm blushing. Aweee. Me and Cam are cute. I walk into Makaylas room to see her on her phone. She doesn't notice me, so I walk out, stand by the door and listen. "Yeah you can come over right now." She says. "Yeah, okay. Bye." She says and hangs up her phone. I walk in. "When's you friend coming? Cam said he will be here in 15 minutes." I say while taking a seat on her bed. "He should be here soon. I mean, he only lives across the street!" She says chuckling. Today is going I be fun.
