almost broken. (Chapter 6)

(A/N: I'm going to try make my chapters longer, but it's kinda hard to publish. My wifi at my house doesn't work properly, so I can't go on any social medias. I occasionally use my moms hotspot, but idk. There is like a tower down, which means that wifi isn't working very well in the town that I live in, but I will work it out some how. *Makaylas Pov.*

"I've run all the tests, and you are free to go whenever you would like." The doctor said to me and left. I smiled, "yes I finally don't have to eat gross hospital food." I said jumping up and down. "Makayla calm down I don't want you to break your leg or something." My mom says chuckling. "Oh mom you know I don't break my bones..well except for that one time when I was at Krys's (pronounced like Chris) when I fell down the stairs and broke my elbow... Annddd that other time, at Taytes, (nickname for Taylor, but it's not Taylor Caniff) when I tripped and broke my ankle.... Okay I guess I do break my bones! But who cares!" I said shrugging and making a really unattractive face. She just laughs.

*Hayes Pov.*

Should I go talk to her? I thought while looking out my window. I see she finally came home from the hospital. Ugh she's gorgeous. I'm going to talk to her. I think confidently. "MOM I'M GOING TO GO TALK TO MAKAYLA!" I yell through the house, because I am not sure where she is. "OKAY BUT BE BACK BY DINNER." She shouts back. I start jogging, I reached the door and knocked. Normally I just walk in and shout "hey I'm home." As a little joke, but I don't feel like I'm welcome here anymore. "I'LL GET IT MOM." I hear Makayla shout. She opens the door, and smiles. "Hey Hayes." She says. Wow, are you sure she just got out of the hospital? How did she manage to straighten her hair and put on her mascara. It probably took a while considering her hair Is naturally wavy. But her mom always has emergency stuff in her big purse that she carries around. "Hayes are you done checking me out yet?" She says and chuckles. I blush, shit she noticed. "No just wait, once more." I say and look her from head to toe. "Now I'm done." I said smirking. She's so cute when she blushes. "Okay Hayes what would you like?" She asks smiley. "Well I was wondering if you wanted to go to Taco Bell? Since your probably sick of the hospital food." I say quickly and nervously. "Like on a date?" She asks smirking. "Well yeah, I'm pretty sure what I just said is a date." I said back smirking as well. "mom I'm going to Taco Bell with Hayes, can I borrow money from you? I don't feel like walking up all those stairs and getting mine." I say in a lazy voice. "Uh yeah." She said and handed her 30$. "Thanks mom, love you bye!" She says while shutting the door. I decided I would make my move and hold her hand. She gladly accepted. We walked in silence for a while. Good silence not awkward silence. "So how you been Grier?" She asks. She's always called me Grier. She calls me Hayes sometimes but I find it attractive when she calls me Grier. "Uh pretty good I guess." I say shrugging. "But I'm happy now cause I'm with you." I say, ugh that's cheesy Hayes good going. "Awe, that's so cute!" She says using her free hand and pinching my cheek. "So are you." I mumble. "What?" "What?" I say, and we chuckle. "You said that what I said was cute, then I said so are you." I say blushing. "Well, it's okay, I think you are cute too." She saids smiling big.

I haven't checked my phone in a long time! Instagram, twitter, youtube! Oh my gosh. "HAYES!" I screamed causing him to jump. He let go of my hand, "you scared me to death!" He said holding his heart. "Sorry, I just realized I haven't checked my phone since the day of the accident. Can you make a youtube video with me?" I asked grabbing his hand again. "Yeah sure! Can we do the boyfriend/girlfriend tag?" He asks. I look at him dumbfounded. "Why would we do that?" I asked. "Because I was wondering if you wanted to be my girlfriend?" He says looking me in the eye. Shit. What am I suppose to say?
