Nadine's POV
"How was it staying with your parents?" Theo grabs my hand and holds it. "It was fine. I might even introduce them to Kira being that they know about her." He nodded in understanding. "Great to see everything is ok and fine." He opens the door to the house. "Hey Theo someone from the blood river is here to see you. " Theo nods signaling him to bring this person here. "Hello alpha light I am Casey I come here to cordially invite you to the annual hunters feast this year and being that this year you have found your mate this time, I figure you would like to go." She looking at me well more like examined me. "Nadine is that you?" She came closer to me only for Theo to block her from coming any closer. "Sorry alpha." She backed up. "Nadine it's me Cass." She said in Hope of something."I'm Carter's cousin the one who you were close to after you gave birth to Kira." She said making me come from behind Theo. "Cass? How are you still alive?"I hugged her. "Well during the attack I ran and ran until I was in human territory and lived amongst then until I found that I was mates to the alpha of the pack I'm in." I nod "oh goddess how I miss you I thought everyone died because no one said anything." She teared up. "But I'm glad I found you. No one else survived the attack but us." She hugged me tighter. " She backed away. "But anyways I hope to see you and your mate at the hunters feast." I looked at her. "What time and day is it?" She looked at Theo. "Tomorrow night in my pack land." She smiled looking at me again. "Well I better get going." She hugged me and shook Theo's hand before leaving. "How did she survive through the attack when I saw everyone I knew dead?" I asked myself.
